After the pros were here last weekend, track is still very sticky. 8 cars total broke today. Chad Sandlin went right up on the bumper and came crashing down. smashed the oil pan, broke the motor off the chassis. Didn't even get past the tree.

Just a synopsis of my day....

We lost vacuum on the morning pass today, so we got our dart board out and picked a dial for round 1. We changed ours twice in the staging lanes, some of the dragsters were flipping back and forth every couple minutes. The track was having grip issues from having just been sprayed, and the air was being erratic.

7:25 am and we're off to the track. Crispy 57 degrees and 33 water grains per pound of air. Should be similar conditions to yesterday.

10:06 am riley broke a transmission, 18 guys here, 6 wrenchin 12 watching. 3 guys on passenger side, 2 on driver, 1 wrench fetchin

10:11 am

10:19 am

Riley came to pit at 10:05, now 10:25 and trans is on the jack coming out

10:29 am, Trans is out, convertor is off rileys car.

With Riley's trans out, we're now back to our pit for warmup.10:38 am

3:56 pm. In the lanes for round 1. Very back of the lanes. Ran 579 yesterday and 587 this morning, dialing a 58.

4:14 pm 3 cars from card draw in lanes. Dialing 57.

4:39 pm WE ARE IN ON SUNDAY! Blew the tires off, pedal job, other guy broke out by 5. YEA!!!

5:32 pm Riley howard wins his pair with a borrowed transmission. He broke the front pump, and cracked the torque convertor

6:22 pm Chad sandlin wins his pair after tearing the entire driveline -literally- out of the truck yesterday

went out second round of eliminations, first round of competition today. Made the first fully clean pass we had all weekend...kinda. Dad had a bad light and the data recorder malfunctioned, but the car went the fastest it's ever gone

They both look good.They would look better if you could get rid of the the yellow reflection in that black piece on the front of the car.

The image is too grainy at the root level to get it out, the coverup would be too obvious.
