Rain forecast for tomorrow's race

I'm guessing there will be a race delay, as well as more cautions, but I hope they will get the race in.
Maybe it will go more than 1/2 way before they call it and Jeff Burton (AKA RainMan) will win IF that's how the Nascar Gods see it. JMO
 
Hee! I remember some years ago, the wife and I attended the race and it was postponed because of rain. Of course, we called in sick the next day to watch the race. The sun came out and it was a perfect fall day, clear and clean air. The thing is, both of us got sunburned on one side of our face. :eek: You should have seen the grins on the faces of our co-workers when we came to work on Tuesday. :D
 
I've checked a bunch of weather forecasts and all of them are saying 50% chance of showers this afternoon with partial clearing later today.

FYI

Nascar Raceday on Speed is reporting that the race will be pushed up to a 1:55 Eastern time drop of the green.
 
The front moved thru here pretty fast, and the son is out both here and in Martinsville!
