Rain this weekend in Bristol?! Say it ain't so...

Just checked weather.com, and they're calling for a 40% chance of rain Friday night and a 50% chance on Saturday night. Will this entire race weekend be one big wash?

If this happens, you will hear my blood-curdling scream all the way from NYC to where ever you may live.

I hope it gets postponed to Sunday, I'm looking forward to making the decision on whether to go to the dirt track or stay home and watch the race.

I know most hardcore dirt track fans would slap me upside the head for even thinking of staying home to watch TV instead of going...............................but it is Bristol...

I'm not going all the way down to Chinatown tomorrow to buy crawfish, shrimp, and crabs if there's no race to watch.

Plan on getting here around 6-ish, give or take... :D

Well, I'd be shocked you knew where I lived, for one!

But, mostly, I'd just be embarrassed that you saw my place when it was in such disarray...which it almost always is. :sketchy:

If you do plan on showing up, please let me know by tonight so I can expand my shopping list and clean up a bit. Might also drag home the Mike Dillon Kingsford Charcoal hood that just arrived at work today, so you all can see it hanging from my ceiling across from the red pteranadon.
My place has a bit of a circus atmosphere, I must admit.

it was suppose to rain in michigan last weekend but it did not...........i think the man upstairs watches NASCAR too, be has been kind to us this year.................how many races were postponed until monday this year??????????????????
 
Gulf shrimp will be killer, TRL! Maybe you could throw in a hunk of prime Texas beef, while you're at it?...

I'm no longer a big drinker, but I do plan on tossing a couple back for Bristol. You know, it's a holiday and all.

Well TRL I would have to ponder that on which one I would prefer LOL Bristol is a holiday as far as I am concerned and the menu sounds great. All I could offer is some fresh water from a mountain spring maybe. And yes they are calling for rain this weekend. We live about 45 minutes from the track.

They've changed the forecast to isolated storms on Saturday night and just partly cloudy for tonight so it's looking better and better by the moment. The front that was supposed to come through here isn't near as bad as they first thought. Of course this is assuming that they know what they're talking about in the first place.
