I've had enough rain.

RAIN at Bristol: it rained this morning at Bristol and been told it is currently raining, Nextel Cup practice, scheuled to run from 12:05 to 1:35pm] is under a delay. Qualifying is scheduled for 3:40pm/et. Radar at weather.com looks semi clear for now but nascar.com cams show the track as quite wet and their weather link shows more on the radar. Forecast for today is 70% of rain, 40% tonight and Saturday, with a chance of freezing rain and snow.(1:25pm/et 3-24-2006)

nope!!!

last years championship standing!

Defending Cup champion Tony Stewart will be on the pole, with Greg Biffle sharing the outside of the front row. Carl Edwards will start third, followed by Mark Martin and Jimmie Johnson.

Matt Kenseth is seventh, followed in eighth by Jamie McMurray in the No. 26 Ford, formerly the No. 97. Kurt Busch will start ninth based on Rusty Wallace's ranking a year ago in the No. 2 Dodge. Jeremy Mayfield rounds out the top 10.

no race today.........at least according to the weather report.

Sleet and rain in Bristol today. There may be some clearing tomorrow where they might get the Cup race in. Looks like Monday for the Busch guys...

two weeks in a row? That's murder on the teams. not to mention another 50 laps makes it even harder.
