Heavy rains & storms have been happening in the Chicago area since the 5th of July. There have only been 2 days when it hasn't rained. Today was one of them.
For people going to Chicago- beware. There are 2 parking lots that are under water & can't be used. I80 (the only major route to the Joliet track) has been under contruction & long delays should be expected.
Sounds like the long drive to the couch in front of the TV is the better option.
