Hey everyone,

I'm new to Nascar and to this website. I finally attended my first Nascar race this year and i'm hooked! I would like to know what you think is the ten most hottest, most popular, most in-demand, most must-go-to races of the season. I know that tickets would be hard to find for these, but I want to plan ahead for next season and attend 2-3 of them. So, show me the top ten races that you would like to attend if you could!

Hmmm, he'll have a hard time finding tickets for the "Rock", but if he can get them they should be real cheap and he won't be crowded.

Actually I believe ANY race you go to in person is a great race, I've never been disappointed.
Just look around for the most practical races for you to attend both financially and time wise. Daytona should be at least once in a lifetime event, (I haven't made it there yet) just because of what it is. Another I'd love to get to is Indy, then any of the shorter tracks but hect as I said if you're there in person every track is great.

#1 -- Bristol -- your best bet for getting good seats is to go with a tour group.

#2 -- Martinsville

#3 -- Dover -- not a bad seat in the house -- parking can be vicious

#4 -- Darlington

#5 -- Richmond -- not a bad seat in the house -- parking is a pain

#6 -- Daytona

#7 -- Charlotte

#8 -- Talladega

#9 -- Texas or Atlanta -- yes, I know Charlotte clones, but with teeth

#10 -- Michigan -- fairly easy to get tickets except the main grandstand -- go for Turn 1

#11 -- Indy --- agreed, sight lines are poor, but go just because it is Indy. Parking is hard, but if you spend the weekend, get a weekend parking pass for the north lots, a good map, and it isn't too difficult.

I've attended races at every one of the listed tracks and just love them. In fact, going back to Richmond in September.

I heard Indy, is not really worth it, cant see, hot, takes you for ever to get out of. :(
ya thats my opinion of it, i went there last year

If you're talking about this year, I'd say the fall race at Martinsville or the Texas night race.

i went to the texas night race this year and it was killer good
but all the races at texas are good

"i went to the texas night race this year and it was killer good"

You must have been the only person there. There hasn't been a night race there yet. :p

Well, technically, yes there has. The Craftsman Truck race and the IRL races last month were night races. I was there. :D But, the night race you were referring to will be in November! :beerbang:

You're right, I assumed (you know what that makes ??) he was talking about a cup race. He may have not been. :tomato:

I went to the brickyard last year and had a blast. I had seats the lower tear very back roll. I could stand up with no one behind me and the breeze to my back. I was right in front of the pits. The weather was GREAT all weekend. Not hot at all last year. I wouldnt know how long it takes to get in or out we camped right across the grandstand gate and could walk from my camper to our seats in 5 minutes! Did so during pratice/qual and race day. Stayed till monday drove right home no waiting. :) I will aggre you cant see the whole track but have a few BIG screen TVs and boards showing the top 10 drivers.
This year I have almost the same seats but upper tear very back roll penthouse seats.

If I had one complaint it would be you cant see the whole track and I cant compare it to other track tacks since Ive only been to Indy. The next closest track to me would be 4+ hour drive. Indy I can make it in a hour 30 minutes.

Last year was my first nascar race and going again this year to a track most wouldnt recommand. Dont get me wrong I would love to go to Bristal or Daytona but Indy is more convient for me and still enjoyed every day there at the track. Espcially Friday and Saturday you can walk the whole track but the pits and can pretty much still get with in 10-20 feet of all the cars and drivers!
