The pre-race activities were great. It gave you the "shivers" just seeing all those people and drivers and the entertainment was pretty good. It sure was "The Great American Race".
I will give a 7.5 for their overall coverage. I kinda got tired of listening to Waltrip expound all day on Kyle, who blew the race as usual with his immature driving.

Actually, I'd rate the pre-race show reeeaaally low. They spent 90% of the time showing us what was going on on-stage, and just scant seconds here and there showing the old heroes and the old cars. I mean really, I damn sure didn't want to see old Big Bopper shaking his hips in pants that no 70 year old should be wearing, I' was watching to see race cars.

Speed had 100 hours of coverage...and too much of it was spent with Spencer and KWallace trying to be cute...

OMG Andy..I rate the same.
I too hated the way they cut to commercials....Usually you know it's coming. They put the top 5 on the screen or tell you. But, they just cut right out. no fading no nothing...very annoying. Way to go FOX
probably trying to maximize what they could for track time. I too wouldve liked to see a little more of the on track and infield action than the concert. I figured they would line all the cars up side by side by side along the front stretch grass for the fans to see at the end.
