From my vantage point 44 rows up in the O.V. Hill South tower, I give it a 10+
I have been to several Cup, Busch and truck races in the last 20 years at 'Dega and that was the best I have ever seen, Bar None!!!
I know that a lap leader change is only counted at the Start/Finish line, but I wished someone would actually count how many times the lead is actually swapped during a 'dega race. I would dare to say a minimum 180-190 unofficial lead changes during yesterdays race. If I had a DVR, I would do the research.
The Toyotas had the class engine for sure, but not enough veteran talent. As the race progressed, the vets outraced the young guns toward the front. The key to winning these days is planning on 3 G-W-C finishes and having yourself with enough gas, rubber and track position to go the finish the deal. McMurrey is good at driving a restrictor plate race, but Harvick for sure is the man when it comes to setting people up for the pass. Fortunately for McMurrey, he is not a idiot like Edwards and tried to block Harvick from the win.
