Rate It Martinsville

As usual, this race is one of my favorites. Though my boy Kahne had problems, he sure looked good when his car worked. I'll give this one a 9 also.

Give it an 8. Would have gone higher if Nascar would have given them more laps at the end.

I give it a 8.
I do have a question. Why did NASCAR throw the caution for the 24s flat tire???? There was no debris on the track and there was no danger to other competitors. Then later in the race there was an incident, who I can't remember, but it was wose than his and they did not throw the caution.

I think I'd give this race a 9 as well. I was dissapointed to see Kasey go out early, but with such a great start to the season, things have to go wrong every once in a while.

They said for debris. Who knows. Maybe they figured that if Jeff lost a few laps some viewers may turn off the TV. Good race even tho cable problems cost me about 45 minutes. When it came back Lil'E had worked his way to the top 5 or so.

9 from me as well, though didn't see it, because we were on the road headin back from san antonio.. but the radio made it sound like a hell of a race!

I seem to be in the minority on this one. I really didn't enjoy this race all that much. There were too many cautions for me. I'd give it a 5. I ended up turning over to watch the IRL race. Now that one I'd give it a 10. Maybe that's why I didn't enjoy the Cup race. It just couldn't compare to the IRL race. That usually doesn't happen.

RaceChick, I'm with you on this. Too many cautions and too many laps under caution. And, the race is too damn long. IMO

....Fox did a lousy job coming back from commercials for the restarts. 3 laps late......What the hell was that.

I'd have to give it a 9, too! Some great racing!

On to Texas!!! WOOHOO!! :beerbang:

DITTO THAT!!!!

I agree with bucky. FOX's commercials suck when it comes to restarts. And for that reason i can't with for next year when ABC will be airing the races. I love the side-by-side system.

Glad to know that I wasn't the only one who was bored with all those cautions. Reading over this thread I was beginning to think something was wrong with me. :)

Nothing wrong with you, chick. You'll find that many people consider caution free racing to be boring racing. I am not one of them. I'll give it a 4.

I gotta rate the racin I 'saw' a 9. I can't rate what I missed due to FOX's trillions of commercials.
I personally thought the IRL was ok. Yes, we TIVO'd it and watched it too.
Guess I would give it a 5.

Now the really exciting race, to me; was the F1 Saturday night!!!!! That one was a WOWZER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Watched the A1 today from TIVO and it too, was a good race. Last one of the season, sadly.

I rate it a 9, Dale Jr. Crashed, I could have gave it a 10.

If Jr and his team have that kind of "Determination" the rest of the year they will surely be a team to be reckoned with.
