I'm going to give the first half of the season a 7. There was some really great racing during the first half of the season, but as Happy29 said "Where the hell was the points battle?"

Been a pretty good first half.Good but not great.More competetive across the field than a lot of seasons recently.Kenseth quite but solid and no one really dominating thru slam-bang victory dominance like we've seen in past years.A lot of different winners with only two drivers having multiple wins.Overall I would give it about a six.The winner of the WC will be one of the current top three drivers,hopefully Matt.
