Rate the Auto club 500

Ok, rate the race, the Auto Club 500.

All in all I will give it a 7. if nothing else but for the finish.

Heck, if J. Gordon had won it would have been worth a 9. A win by him is worth at least a 2 more poins.

I didn't get to watch most of the race, but I would have to vote Matt winning a 10.

I have to think about this one for awhile........ I wanted Jr. to finish higher, but I really wonder if Jr. will ever be a real contender. Matt is sooo consistent and deserved to win. Tony messed up on the speeding penalty. I'm exhausted from the whole thing...

The really bad part is we have to wait TWO weeks until the next race!!!

Yes, good weekend for JG...pole and finished second...too bad on flat for Harvick...overall i'd give the race a 8.5/10.

Like I said earlier, many passing lanes and no damn plates! Only way it could have been better is if it were a short track and/or Jeff Gordon won it.

Over all I'll rank it 7.5. I would have loved to see what Harvick had for Kenseth at the end. That would have topped the charts. As it was you had to know Kenseth had the race won and the only mystery was how far those who stopped and got tires would move up.

7. It would have been a 10 on the finish if not for the last yellow and Harvicks flat. I wonder if 17 could have held him off?

I did not watch one green flag lap and heard less then 10 on the radio. so i really cant rate it.

I'd rate it an average race. Nothing spectacular, but there was significant passing, battles for the lead, good mix of cautions/green flag runs.

I thought it was an average race but I'm a Kenseth fan so 7.

As for Harvick, I'd say he ran the tires off trying to catch Kenseth and still stayed .5 second behind him for 5 or 6 laps.

I doubt he'd want that tire going down at 200mph.

Kenseth claims the #29 had enough for him but I guess will never know.

I wonder if Johnson ever found that debris he was crying about

Well aren't the fans always wondering about the mystery debris. I know I see enough posts about it on here. So when a driver starts wondering about the debris cautions why are you surprised?
