1- Maybe next year for Chase races they can run a race for the guys in the Chase and a second for non-Chasers. Every pass was followed by a wave and a thank you.

Personallys the results was a 9 for me, I had picked Hamlins to win.
But Technicallys the race was a 5, very little suspense or drama.
Nascars gets a zero for the Phantom caution near the end of the race, I still hate the use even when it doesn't change the outcome.

Race gets a 0. If it wasn't for the "debris" cautions Denny would have lapped everyone. Which is fine but the action out there was slim to none.

Dennys burnout gets a 10+. Awesome, awesome burnout.

I've been dealing with a cold/flu for a week so i ended up taking a nap for the whole race. saw maybe 30 laps and was out till 6:00pm cst

It was so exciting I fell asleep and missed middle of the race --- a distinct lack of action in the bits I saw. And, no, I was not looking for wrecking, I was looking for some racing.

7.71 Cars were able to pass cleanly. The 11 was on rails all day and there were no wrecks which obviously bothered many people but I enjoyed the race. Watching Denny's Hotpass channel was fun for the first 94 laps and there was stone good action in the pack.

Chase race #2 was about as "exciting" as #1.

From what I saw, I'll give it a 3.5

I'll give it a 6. Whenever there's a pass at this track, it's usually pretty exciting, more so than a lot of other tracks IMO. But passing doesn't happen often enough because the cars get way too spread out after a few laps.

A rather forgettable race in my eyes. Just look at the low post count in our forum's race thread. Just not a lot to talk about.

The race shoulda went caution free as I could not find any reason to throw any of those cautions. I suppose I could give kudos to NASCAR for trying to create some drama with those restarts, but the field still went back to conga-line racing afterwards, anyways. Oh, well, nice try.

Count me as one of those fans who doesn't necessarily look for wrecks alone to make for an exciting race, but I sure do love what may occur before and after one happens. A lot of crashes are results of hard racing (think three wide), drivers dishing out payback from an earlier percieved slight, and bonehead moves. And then after a wreck we might see a second payback, either on the track or off. These scenarios, to me, often times make for an exciting race. If that means I like wrecks, so be it.
Guilty as charged.
Just remember, I, like you, never want to see any driver get hurt. But wrecks are a part of racing and will always be. You know that.

Glad to see Denny Hamlin come out with a win and not get burned by that last caution. I guess you could say I'm a "closet" fan of his. If he ever makes a switch to Chevy, I'm all on board.

5, because Kasey finished 5th I only saw the first half before work.

Yeah and I don't get that. The way this track is set up with low banking it should race fast and tight into the corners with lots of side by side bumping and with hard breaking into corners you'd think you'd see more pushing the guy in front out of the way but I didn't see hardly any of that, they just got strung out single file and with Denny stinking up the show it was kinda boring.

Currently between us averaging out to a 4.3

It was kinda like a NFL blowout of 42-3. An okay game/race but not memorable unless you're a Denny Hamlin fan.

I liked at the end how the camera was behind Darian Grubb to catch his reaction to Denny winning the race. He and however was next to him were looking over some things on the teams laptop at the time. As soon as Grubb noticed he was on camera, he was quick to close that laptop and get rid of the camera. :D

I stand by my 9, I enjoyed the dicing around from the 2nd to 22nd positions and watching KyBu fade into the sunset. :D

As I watched Kyle mess with chase drivers for a few laps the second week in a row, I finally realized he'll never change.

Cup races at NH suk, yet trucks and mods, especially the mods put on a hellofva race.
YMMV and I don't care.:p

Racing of any kind is like that . The faster cars get to the front and the slower cars get to the back. The race didn't start that way , Denny and some of the others were at the back . They drove up through the field . I guess you want them to keep throwing cautions every twenty laps so the slower cars can keep up ,but that's not what Nascar does.

I will give the race a 5, but I think the attendance should get a 10. That place looked packed.

Sucked for Stefanik, 2 to go,and punted into the wall by Lia...Lost the race and a good car.

Donny ran out of talent there. Him and Christopher have some history but I don't think that was intentional. I'd hope so anyway cause you don't do that crap in a modified and he hit big time on the drivers side.

Not true, as sst55 stated the Mods put on a great show, lots of passing, side by side racing, it only the cup cars that suck. Where in the world would you get the idea I would want a bunch of cautions thrown, that would suck even more.

What is your proposal to slow the front runners down?

Slowing some cars down in order to bring the pack closer together just doesn't seem like racing to me. Sorry.

Not slow down the front runners, making less aero dependant racecars, tires that wear would improve racing. The cars are so aero dependant right now that it's comical. Tracks that were not aero dependant are now thanks to the COT.

You're wasting your breath. He just doesn't get it.

News flash , cars have always been areo dependant . They just didn't have engineers giving names to those problems . In fact , everything that move has some amount of areo dependance. Also , if you use those methods , you will improve every car in the field equally and not change the racing . To get the cars closer together , you either have to slow down the front runners or speed up the slow cars .Tires that wear would improve racing by causing more cautions . Agreed.
