Rate The Darlington Race

Because of the outcome of the race I will have to give it a 9.995. Sort of boring through the middle.

I've always liked Darlington. Jeff won. It was old-style racing in the car of tomorrow. It worked for me. :beerbang:
 
Has to be a 9. The last 40 or so laps really kept you on the edge of your seat with all the twists and turns of a dramatic movie.
 
I will agree with a few of the previous posts. The last third of the race really kept a person on edge, lots of mystery as to who would pull out the win. I will give the race an 8.5 overall.
 
COT races getting better & better. I'll give it a 9. Good to see the drivers actually have to drive again.
 
The Kat fell into a Katnap and missed a good bit, but the final 40 were worth 9.9 and JEFF WON!
 
9 - because the 24 winning while overheating reminded me of a race at Darlington where HUT dominated but lost to Jeff when the #8 Circuit City car started overheating ;)
 
I think the COT cars suck. In my opinion it looks like a truck going around the track and I'm not a fan of truck racing. As far as the race, it was decent but nothing really special. We've all seen alot better races at Darlington than that. I will say, although I'm not a blood in my veins Jeff Gordon fan (it doesn't bother me if he wins, but if Jimmie Johnson wins it's better), I thought it made for great TV and actually saved the race with him winning when his engine was about to grenade. The steam piping out of the overflow during the burnout was pretty neat. That team looks very tough to beat for the Cup at this point.
 
Since I got to be at Darlington and see my favorite driver win, I'm going to have to give it a 10.
