Rate the Darlington race

On a scale of 1-10...

I give it a nine. Right there with Atlanta. I might rate it higher if Jeff didn't have such bad luck at the end. But Matt kept the points lead and there were quite a few lead changes. Many cautions kept everything changing constantly. A lot of beatin' and bangin' though and a GREAT finish.

On second thought...Make it a 9-1/2! :D
 
I give this race a 12...I know its not in the top 10 but I think it beats it!
 
8. Great finish, but pretty run of the mill for the first 260 laps.
 
the last 30 laps get get 20 :D 's...the rest of the race, 6-7 :D 's.
 
Not a bad race most of the day but with the closing laps I have to give this one a 10. beatin and bangin to the finish, tire smoke pouring out and damn near wrecking each other. It don't get much better. best part was they didn't wreck each other.
Dave Blaney and that team just gets better every week and that is great to see.

I'll give it a 7. The first 25 laps looked like bumper cars, but after that it settled down and was pretty uneventful. The last 15 laps were what saved it from being a run of the mill race. The last 2 laps get a 15 in excitement value.

Best Finish I think Ive ever seen...or at least can remember. I give it a 10+. Lets hope they can all be this good...
 
10 just for the great finish and a great guy who won. Plus alot of drivers ran pretty good that don't normaly!! Blaney with his first top 5 was great as well!!
 
I wish the last 2 laps could have made up for 200+ that were pretty typical Darlington. I loved the finish but it still gets an overall 8 from me. Too few lead changes and a Chevy up front far too long! I loved seeing Ricky beat out Busch tho....I guess I'll go 8.5!

9.5, the middle third of the race took this away from a 10

this race was a perfect example of why Darlington needs 2 races
 
This was the 2nd best finish to a Winston Cup race I ever saw. The 'Wild Man' & Ricky were awesome!!

The first was when Dale Earnhardt took Terry LaBonte out as they were coming out of turn 4 at Bristol. Terry came across the line sideways & hit the wall in turn one. The third best race was when Dale took him out & ending up winning & hearing all the fans boo Dale...never, ever heard fans booing Dale before or after.
 
Give it a 9. Thought is was a great race and will probably be aired on ESPNCL next week.

I agree with Paul for once it gets a 9 only because of the finish.
 
Haven't had a chance to watch yet, but the highlights look like a 10.
