Rate the race on a scale of 1 to 10. I will give it a 6.5.
The race really was Kyle's to win or lose and he lost it with his below yellow move.

6 the 88 had no help at the end without the 24, the 48 or the 5. Teamates are the key to winning in this new car/cot.

LOL, and I did just that for about 50 or so laps in the middle.

Oh, and good run by Robby Gordon.
my dad slept then too, i also agree robby did well in that valvoline dodge (talk about last minute funding).

I'll rate it around an 8, got pretty tense at times.

As far as mears, that was boneheaded, he had all the time in the world but moved half a second too late. He actually moved once in the replay but didnt think he was clear or something and went back where he was.

the blaney/harvick/menard wreck goes to show how strong the CoT is- played bumper cars and almost didnt even need a caution.

9. Was great to see Busch push Newman for the win right when he needed it.

I'll give it a 8. It was a good solid race and the COT did really good for its debut at Daytona. I think they will tweek them and be even better when they come back in July.

I watched the 1st 100 and the last 40. The finish was a solid 10. The entire race 7.

Well i was at work so only listened in when i could, sounded like the first part of the race was a somewhat boring, but i did get to see the last 25 laps when i got home....that was fun. Car of Today seems to be quite durable and races well, although three wide it does not handle like the old cars, which for Daytona is a good thing. I'd give it a 7.5, would of rated it higher , but it is a plate race, and i detest Plates.:)

7 even. Good race, cautions ruined it.

Of course compare that to last year's 500 which got a 10 from Andy because that was the best race ... in HISTORY!

First 150 laps - 6 (snooze fest)

Last 50 laps - 9 (would have given it a 10 had the #20 won instead :D )

8 I enjoyed most of it but feel asleep for an hour in the middle when I wasn't tired, so I couldn't give it a 9 or 10.

From the TV point of view I give it a 8 the the last were great.

And from my seat I would give it a 5, Daytona isn't what everyone makes it out to be.

Over all I give it a 8

3/4 of the race was a 6. The last 4th, I'll give an 7.5. Definitely not the excitement I was hoping for after all the hype for the last 2 wks.
