I will give it a 9. Gordon ran a very smart race and his talent surely showed today.

10+ For me for obvious reasons.

Back-to-back wins = awesome :)

Ah Kelloggs come on be a sport. It is not our fault your kelloggs car wrecked.

The race was boring. Choo choo. :)

Matt and Denny were still running.

Golly you mean you ain't going to deny that being your Kelloggs car? I dun fell out of my chair. LOL:bounce:

I will have to split my vote on this one. The first half I'll give it a solid 9. The next 1/3 I'll give a flat 5 if that for the follow the leader style that reminded me of the modified race I watched last night. The last I'll give a 7.5. The finish I'll give NASCAR a zero for the way they handled everything. Good for Jeffy on his win and my boy Kahne finally broke the top 20! LOL

Parts were scarey, parts were boreing, parts were exciting. and but for the fact that Jeff drove a smart race, I would have given it a 5. (Kat doesn't like plate racing)
HOWEVER, because Jeff won, from the pole, two weeks in a row, broke Big E's record, 10

Uh, make that back-to-back wins from the pole = beyond awesome.

The Denny Train was not so boring for me. You had to know Jeff, Jimmie, Tony, Harvick and the others were going to make their move. It was just a matter of when and how many. And, who would jump out of line when they started coming to be swept to the front with them.
I'm glad they went back to a larger fuel tank. The 3 wide racing was really good. The final laps were outstanding with lots of drama.

BP I loved every minute of it. I liked the track view too. Don't think I want to pay that much for it though. It is cheaper than speed for me.

So BP, are you going to put a number on your rating of the race. :)

Oh, knew I was forgetting something. It was a solid 10.
I don't much like RP racing either because it seems contrived. But it was exciting. Made more so because again I synched up the TV with the radio broadcast and then muted the TV. There is much better coverage of the race and you have fewer commercials.
And, I can't argue with Jeff and Jimmie finishing 1 -2. If only Casey and Kyle could have been there with them...

I'll go 9.5 --- The guys showed remarkable patience. Only toward the end did the mental fatigue show up.

I don't like plate racing --- I cleaned house, washed clothes, paced the back deck, and generally fidgeted. I'm not nearly so nervous when I'm at the track. LOL

Try a couple beers next time. They tend to relax a person a little. :)

Well i give it a 1 just because Jeffy made me some money in my big racing league, but other that that i had to work. I have always been a HUGE opponent of plate racing , had many a discussion on here about in fact, but i still feel (and this won't change) they need to get rid of the plates and re configure the engines for Daytona and Dega. To me groups of 35 cars running side by side or follow the leader for 70 laps is not RACING. I will be interested to see what happens in October at Dega with the COT, hopefully that will be a huge improvement over what the cars today do on a plate track. I have doubts however, that much will change, as Nascar has made these cars perform Exactly the way they want them to on PLATE track.

I will give it a 10 because Jeff Gordon won and because nobody got killed in the "Big One" we all hold our collective breath waiting expectantly for. I can't stand watching plate racing. It just bores me and pisses me off at the same time. I didn't watch more than 5 minutes of this one for that reason. But, I am still very pleased that Jeff won and that noone was killed or even seriously injured by NASCAR's dangerous experiment designed to provide fake competition and appeal to the blood lust of some "fans" (in other words plate racing).
