I will give it a 6.5. The lobster dinners I had the last few weeks in Bar Harbor beat the hell out of the race.

Except for Clint dominating and getting his first win, Jeff Gordon finishing 2nd and now tied with Jimmie on the top of the standings, it was a yawner. 6

Wake me when it's over. Oh, it's over? Well I'll be damned. Oh yeah, now I remember somewhere in between some of the stick and ball sports, there were some cars going round and round. I'll give the race a solid 3 and if those in the booth hadn't been such clowns, I'd have given it a weak 2.

While I was glad Clint FINALLY won a race, I thought it was about as boring as it gets. Being the first chase race, I thought there would have been a little more action involved. I'd give it a 5, only because I'm feeling generous!

10 for the Bowyer win but boring other than that. Got to be the COT (Car Of Turds). Is it my imagination that the COT makes for a more boring race?

Between the guys in the booth and the guys in the truck

THEY are ruining the viewing of a race. They have at their hands lots and lots of different ways to show what is going on at the track... and they use them all!
The viewer wants to see the CARS! Damnit, the CARS!! The viewer is not interested in all the neat things that are available to ESPN/ABC.. Just show the race and put as many cars in each shot as possible.. If you want to talk about somebody in the pits...fine...but show us the racetrack!
Oh yeah...We would like to see the restarts.
I give it a 2.
Betsy.

3 and only that high because it's nice to see a guy get his first win.
Thank God for Football!!

I slept through the first half. I will give the rest of it a 5.24 only because Jeff ran good and tied Jimmy in the points. Not too bad seeing Bowyer win either. He seems to be a good guy.

I might manage a 5 --- but only because I love seeing the joy of a first time winner.

One of the drivers had the right idea a few years back --- make it a lake for bass fishing.

3. Boring race.

ABC gets a -3 for being awful again.

10 for an RCR Victory. :bounce:

Let's go win 9 more RCR guys!

Oh, i guess I missed he race. I click to ABC at 2 PM but thats all i remember before being bored out of my mind.

broadcast: what broadcast? -3

the 5 and 25's pit strategy: 7

Clint's first win: 8

Clints burnout: 10+

The race overall: somewhere between 0 and 1 on the number line.

I will give it a 4.5. For the first time I actually didn't watch the whole race, I went outside and I am a cave dweller when it comes to races

omg do we have ESPN for the rest of the Chase?? I am going back to radio ;)

Awful race, awful coverage. I don't know how many times Jerry Punch would say something about a driver is "charging through the field" when they hadn't passed a car in 20 laps or got passed by 2 cars.

Loudon is terrible and only needs one race at best.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz there was a race?? I didn't see it zzzzzzzzzzzzz

The commercials were more entertaining than the race.

And there were no good football games on our way because the Skins played last night.

I haven't checked to see if they won yet.

You call that travesty, that sham, that mockery - that travshamockery - the Skins and Eagles last night a good football game. It was an embarrassment to MNF of the ages.
And, what was with all the nuthugging for Donovan? He sucks as a QB but people are afraid of the right Reverend Al and the even righter Reverend Jesse to say so.

Actually, I never watched the Redskins game. I saw they won. 2-0 baby! :D

I watched a little bit of the game and it was awful, so I put on Weeds.

MNF is dead. It's about Sunday nights now, Monday Night is on ESPN :bleh:

Doesn't get worse than being reduced to ESPN.

MNF is just what used to be Sunday night games on ESPN. All they did was trade nights and called it MNF. I hear fans making a big deal out of their team being on MNF. It's the same as being on Sunday night a few years ago. The Sunday night games is where you want to be. That's why they have the flex scheduling at the end of the year and not MNF.
