Rate the Race - Atlanta

I'll give it 8, plenty of passing and some guys up front that usually are mid packers, like Mendard and Dinger
 
I'll give it an 8.5....while Edwards payback was a little much, Kes. has to be policed. He has driven with reckless abandon with other drivers. Liked seeing Menard and Dinger run well. Loved seeing JJ not win.
 
What a wild finish. I was so hoping Juan Montoya would of won though.

Im glad Brad K is alright but what comes around goes around. He got his payback from flipping Carl last year at Talladega.
 
8.5-9 Finally a race with some actual racing for the lead. Was a good fight betweenthe 9 and the 2 all race. The supporting cast did a great job too.
 
One of the best I've seen in years. i was on the edge of my seat for most of the day, and of course it didn't hurt that the Petty teams had a great day.

8 Great racing till the end.I was hoping some of the lesser exposed drivers would have finished better,but most of tham had decent finishes.
 
I give it 8, might have earned a 9 had the first GWC restart finished instead of that turn 3 crash. Once Busch took off on the last restart, the race was over.
 
I'll give it a 9.7 Real nice seeing some different people up front for a change. Jr salvaged a top 15 I like the new gwc policy too
 
Thought it was a great race. Wish Kasey would have won though. I'll give it an 8.
 
I must have been more tired than I realized since I was having trouble staying awake during the race. As usual, the finish was good. I guess I'll give it a 6.5.
 
i'll give it an 8. what impressed me was how well the penske and petty cars did. can't wait until all the ford guys get the new engine. the hendrick (with stewart) domination looks to be over. so far anyway. gibbs is having a tough time this year also. very competive races so far.

That was the best racing I've seen yet this year. I actually watched almost the whole race. I missed the first 15 laps or so as I turned it on late. That's the most racing I've watched in the last several years. That was about as good as it gets on a track bigger than a mile. I've always liked Atlanta. There was a lot of passing and lead changes.

I would have rated it even higher if Carl Edwards hadn't decided we didn't need to see the great finish that was shaping up.
 
best of the season 8.25 ..wish Elliott could have pulled a top 10 at home .. breaks my heart to see him just drive in a circle all day ( like DW finished his career ) .........better get those wings off the cars
 
Haven't seen the whole race, just the conclusion.

If Carl hadn't wrecked Kez, we might've had another classic Atlanta Motor Speedway finish.
 
Seems to me that the race fulfilled about everyones wish list.Everyone has been wanting close high speed tight racin with lots of attitude ,beatin and bangin and without the Hendrick dominance. Lots of new faces in the top ten.What more can anybody ask for?And Bill Elliott didn't have that bad a day.I loved it.
