I was there and didn't have to sit through TV coverage. I give it a 6. Some great early action, rather strung out and boring during the last 1/3 of the race.

I say it was a 9. Both my drivers had good runs and moved up in the points.
If you add up seeing history being made by watching the first 3 race sweep at Bristol then it was a 10.

The race could have been a barn-burner for all I know. The TV coverage was pathetic.

After Friday's great broadcast, I was ready for Saturday. Unfortunately, ABC/ESPN dropped the ball.

I'll go a 5 --- simply because I did occasionally see some good racing -- when I wasn't watching commercials or JJ sitting in the garage or Tim Brewer showing me a drive shaft. *sigh*

Yep I agree I'll go a 5 too.:(

Disappointing, really hoping for BK, or any other driver, to wall the 18.:beerbang:

In defense of the coverage, they didn't have much to show after lap 300.

I really do not get the reason for these threads. I routinely see several people rate the race and talking about sleeping through it. If you do not see the race how in the Sam Hill can you rate the race?

Several people down grade the racing because "my driver" or some other driver did not win. Your driver can not win every weekend.

I saw five great NASCAR races in six days in the last week and put 1600 miles on my vehicle. :beerbang:

Me, I just love racing....

:beerbang:I wonder if they fall asleep watching baseball or golf?

I agree, with that... One of my guys (Kyle) won but, I don't rate the race on the driver...It's rate the race..not the winner...not the coverage

Well the coverage has a lot to with the rating , if i don't see much how can I give it a decent rating, plus looked to me like there wasn't a whole lot of rubbing going on like there usually is. Hence the 5 rating.

i was also there, if you compare it to past races i would give it a 1 it was one of if not the most boring races:( i have ever seen at BMS. and i think i have the right to this opinion as i have been to 100+ races at BMS starting in 1967
they didn't do us any favors when they changed the track to the progressive banking.

God i miss the asphalt track potholes and all !!!

I give it a 7. I'm a huge fan of the new track configuration. I like the side by side racing way more than the fright train bump and run style of racing that the track used to produce. Only a 2 hour 41 minute race with 7 cautions. I'd much rather see that type of racing than watching the pace car lead the most laps.

The coverage was the best. I could even smell the rubber and spent fuel. There is nothin like being there. :beerbang:

I hope to get to Homestead this year so I better start working some OT.

Even though I love the fact Kyle got the sweep, some drivers were taken out (JJ, Kes, that low talent broad whats-her-face) and we had someone wall riding on their door for half a lap, I have to give it a 4 or 5 for the races themselves.

I pretty much summed up all the exciting highlights right there.
