This race gets a ten from me. This race had pretty much everything that makes a race exciting. Well, except for a helmet throw... that would've been nice to see again.

I'll go a 9.
I'm dating myself, but watching them run the high groove at Bristol brings memories of when it was asphalt and that WAS the groove. All I needed was smoking right rears and hearing the tires squeal to take me back in time.

I'm giving it an 8. I was at the spring race and thought it was better than this one. Not by much.

9.

I know it's hard to pass but when a driver needed to make the pass, he had to be fearless and that is pretty awesome that wasn't easy.. just get a guy loose and pass.. No you had to really be on the wheel.

8. It's an honest 8. Since the repave, I can't remember seeing slide jobs work.

I'll give it a nine! I thought it was a great race, and guys were actually able to pass on the bottom. Carl Edwards was a good example of that.

Best moment for me was new dad Harvick 'holdin back from fellow new dad Hamlin.

I was amazed at how many drivers overcame problems and worked their way back up front. Kyle is fun to watch, he saved an out of shape car several times. I enjoyed watching the final laps with Kensith and Kahne running side-by-side clean - which probably pissed off the locals.

9/10. Much better Bristol race I've seen in years. Needed a photo finish to be a 10

B+

Like Harvick, I still miss the action that came with the old Bristol, as do the numerous fans that attended the race dressed as empty seats.

Race 9.5, cars 10...best Bristol race I've seen in some time.
