A bubbly Mike Joy proclaimed that "This was one for the AGES!" and added that "This was the best race that we've had at Fontana in several years!".

Cause the others also had boring finishes;)

I watched the entire thing...even though the finish was exciting, it can't save how pitiful the rest of the race was. I would give it a 6 at best. It gets above a 5 from me because of a good finish.

race - 0
finish - 10+ just an awesome finish

I rarely ever complain about races being boring but I detest this race track.

6. Should've redone the track a few years ago as some where contemplating because of the long green flag, follow the leader type racing.

Could have had a Talladega on the west coast. Oh, well.

The last 3 laps I will give a 10. Rest of the race pretty much wasn't worth watching.

Have to agree with most of you. With the exception of the last 2 or 3 laps, this race was a major snooooooooze! The last two or 3 laps were a 10 and all those laps previously, a 2 and that's being generous!

Yeah, I got a chuckle of that as well.

I'd think that after the many years Mike Joy has spent in racing that he'd know better but then again, I should know better than to expect any different.

The thing is this track had plenty of racing on it yesterday, lots of passing, but like any track once you get into the long green flag runs....snooze time. I'll give the race on a whole a 5. How about shortening it to 150 laps make it a little more of sprint race.

If this track is capable of producing finished as good as we had here, then is it really the track's fault that the drivers put it in cruise control for 90% of the race?

2 out of 10. Would have been a 1 if not for the finish.

The contrast to the racing on Saturday was striking. NASCAR can't be happy with the support race showing up the main event.

Guess he never saw the fall race there last year which was a really good race.

I mean, it sounded like a good race on MRN. Then again, MRN can make a chess tournament sound like an instant classic.

Awesome finish though... Harvick is the man!

Speaking of snoozing that's exactly what I did, didn't even see the finish. Best race of the day was the IndyCar race.

I have a feeling he was told to talk up the race as much as possible. Even Larry Mac responded with what amounted to a quiet "Yeah".
