The "Rate the Race" is called this week due to rain. Of course anyone is welcome to give their 1 to 10 rating.

Crappy ending, and a driver who didn't deserve to win ends up in victory lane.

I give it a 1.

2 no explanation needed, both Nationwide and Cup called like that just ruins the whole weekend.

Missed most of the race. It was on, and only watched a few laps at a time. Took a nice nap during that last long rain break. Can't rate that, but I'll give my nap a 10+

For those that say they shouldn't have called it, what should they have done? Remember, the race teams need to get on withy the season too. Rain sucks, and ruins everything. And it seems like no matter what call is made (when rain is a factor) it's the wrong one. This is the case from the local promotor to Nascar. Can't tell you how many times I've seen a race night cancelled that shouldn't have been, as well as a race not called that shoulda been. Seriously, if they woulda kept starting and stopping and finally got the race in at three in the morning, people would probably be *****ing about that.

Nobody wins except the grass and flowers.

On the 1-10 scale I would have to give this race a 0. And I just love racing... Logano-10. JR-0. Tony-4. Ryan-10.

I could go on and on.:sarcasm:

1 unless I can give it a 0. I read that the sun was out and a big clearing behind it about 30 min. after they called the race. They made us wait that long, they could have waited a bit longer. Chad said he was told they would go as late as 9pm to get the race in. So much for that. Blah.

Not going to the race afterall - 10!!!!

Bummer of a weekend!

Nothing turned out good.. I didn't see a race.. Just a bunch of cars that dodged the showers. Glad it is finally over.
Betsy:rolleyes:

Hard to give it a rating with all the stoppages for rain. The first segment was drivers just feeling their way around. Racing got better, then it would rain. I hate to see races end that way, but there's not much that can be done about it.

No good rating here either. Glad I didn't decide to go back over this weekend to the 600. The whole weekend was a total disaster.

I watched 0 laps 0 high lights. Just found out who won. But I'll give it a good ranking since Robby got a top 5! Rain or not. Still counts the same!

.
The Brickyard last year sucked much worse than any race I have ever seen.
and hopefully will ever see again. it was self-imposed which makes bad weather seem trivial. this race sucked because of the weather. not a hell of a lot you can do about that. luck determined the winner of both the nationwide and cup races. they still count though. <g>

Here are my thoughts FWIW. If weather brings a caution out the field should be frozen. Where ever a car is in running order, he or she stays there. Bring them to the pits but they are not allowed to work on the cars.

I realize we are all entitled to our opinion, but in my eyes that is not true.

Yep I agree, never saw a race that bad, as for this one ...I watched about 6 laps was busy doing outside chores around the house during our nice weather here. Weather is always a potential factor when you race, too bad it couldn't of gone the distance and because of that no rating here either.

Yep....just like a red flag

I can't rate it. Wasn't much racing there.

I will defend David though. He won the race within the rules that NASCAR has set. These strategies often happen when rain is involved
