I give it a 3. Decent finish, but even radio couldn't save this race.

I had to use the nascar leader board at work to follow it, so it definitely sucked for me. The 31 won and Kyle did well so I give it a 6.

I give it an 8. Numerous lead changes. Different pit strategy by teams.

Gordon demonstrates his skill by coming back strong after brushing the wall twice. If he had taken 2 tires on the last pit stop he may have been driving for the win.

I'll give it an 8.....this was the first race i had been too in 3 years....it was fun to watch.

Like GP, I was also at the race, but I will only give it a 6, but it was the last 30 laps that gave the 6 to me, otherwise it would have only been a weak 5 for me.

Hmmm.... I thought it was going to be a 2 with all the follow the leader, but then there were some good lead changes, Jeff made it from last to first and then the bad pit call... uggh. Anyway, I guess I'll go with a 6.5. It would have been a 10 w/o that bad pit call for Jeff. ;)

25. Gordon hit the wall...twice! :beerbang:

You just can't help yourself, can you? I'd think you'd give it a good rating since your driver won. Without that bad pit call at the end, your guy might not have been in VL. Last to first - pretty impressive. Bad pit call - depressing. He still had enough class not to blame his crew for that call, but blamed himself for hitting the wall.

some what entertaining

I stayed home and watched it on TV. Got to admit after working all day and being very tired, I still managed to stay awake during the whole race so I'll give it a 7. Great seeing the interview with David Pearson, in my mind the greatest talent to ever sit behind the wheel of a race car. Bought back alot of good racing memories.

Such varying opinions. Interesting.

I'd give it an 8. Thought it was a good race. But I watched it in 2 hours after recording it. So maybe my perspective is different.

I think it does change yor perspective. When you're watching it "live" you have a whole lot of expectations of being entertained and on the edge of your seat. Whether you know the ending or not, you know it's done and you can just watch it without the same expectations. This analogy may be somewhat relevant. I find when I go to see a movie at the theatre, I have way higher expectations. There's been a whole lot of movies I never saw at the theatre and waited for it to come out on tape or DVD. It might have been panned by the critics while in the theatre, but I find I enjoy it and like it at home. Had I seen at the theatre, maybe I would have expected more from it. Of course, there's alway those movies they give great kudos to when it's in the theatre and you watch it at home and think, "Huh? That was terrible." LOL
