The finish was an 8. That should tell you what I think of the rest of the race.

Jeez, I'm glad that I missed this one. Our local races were much more exciting. We even had one of those Cale/Donnie/Bobby deals going on after the race only it was two drivers. They were both taken off the track in cuffs. I saw where there were 29 cars on the lead lap and the last place car wasn't even even ten laps down (9). Looks like it was a real snoozer. Without seeing it, I'll give it a duece.

Total bore.

I give it a 2 and the end a 7, if that.

2 follow the leader till the last lap as always. Our local tracks were cancelled due to rain tonight we had 2 feet of water in the middle and they couldnt get it pumped out. Thank god there was a demolition derby tonight at the fair lol

I thought it was a pretty decent race. Even though Busch stunk most of the show by being out front all night, some good racing between Edwards, Biffle, Stewart, Vickers, Johnson, and Newman behind Busch. I'd give the first half a 7, the middle 1/4 and 4, and the last 1/4 an 8. I guess that comes out to 6.33. :D

It sound to me like there are a bunch of Kyle haters, if he's in the lead, its a lousy race. I saw no less then 15 people driving their cars sideways to make a pass or save a position, and that's not racing? I watch Biffle dirt track for several laps, lookin' like he would spin any minute and he was in the lead, what the hell do you people want? I saw Tony S all but take Kyle out in an attempted pass and saw the 17 car come from 30 to about 5th or 6th in 20 some laps. You need to all watch drag racing, talk about a loser sport.

I give it an 8 or 9, course, I actually like racing!! Duane :sarcasm:

Amen. I may not always find the on track action nonstop, but I can honesty say the only race I ever watched that I could say was a total bore was the New Hampshire race in 2000 (I think it was 2000) when they had plates after losing Adam Petty and Kenny Irwin. Jeff Burton led all 300 laps with basically no passing. I am a true NASCAR racing fan and would watch the racing no matter what.

Those are fightin' words right there:bigfight:

I figured they were!! LOL Not at all a drag fan, to boring. A bunch of noise for 4 seconds then nothing. The only thing I ever enjoyed about drag racing was John Force interviews. There is no time to get excited in drag racing. Purely my opinion, if you like it, then go for it, I have many friend that go to the drags in Bakersfield and Pomona every year, I have been invited but couldn't see the point. Duane

Chicagoland...still a

...worthless race. I got a kick out of one of the intros about how racing fans have always liked the Joliet track. It is a poster track for what is wrong with NASCAR. It sucks....period.:beerbang:

Running them at Nashville would be MUCH better.

Drag racing is totally BORING. Maybe it's different being there, but I wouldn't waste my money finding out.

Yeah, there were several good moves at times, but it didn't make up for all the follow the leader, no matter who won. I probably should have given it more than a 2, but I was all tired out last night from being bored. LOL

OK, for the sideways sliding and the "almosts," I change my rating to a 4.5.... I think... if I could remember something really remarkable better I could go higher. I guess since nothing excited me enough to remember it today, hmmmm... maybe I should go to a 4. Oh hell, you guys who remember, fill in the blank........ ROFL ;)

I gave it high marks BECAUSE there was drama at about every turn, and if you didn't watch it, what the heck are you rateing? Duane

I don't think the track has anything to do with Kyles domination, i did see 3 wide racing at times back in the pack. It was boring but so have most of the races been this year, maybe it's just me. Seems the toyotas are stinking the joint out in Cup and Nationwide, the rest of the guys are left to fight it out in the pack. I fell asleep and didn't see the end so i'll give a 5. As a side note i can remember watching Nascar back in the 70s and there were always 4 or 5 guys that would be the cream of the crop so this isn't really anything new. I do think Nascar will be looking closely at Gibbs toyotas as to why they are so good.

vickers got a top 5 didn't he?

I think the whole toyoa camp has a rabbit in the hat. Pulling 9 n'wide motors is a start..lets pull a motor from every multi-car cup team (selected selection) and compare numbers then.
