I'll go with you on this one........but I thought it had more action than you are giving credit for.
:) :) :) :) :) :) :)

:) :) :) I think it is a boring race when I fall asleep. Plus my driver didn't do well.

I would say it had a 3 for excitment but as for good clean racing a 11

Can we assume you like bent fenders?:) But, yeah I would have to agree about Bristol, but there are only two races at Bristol a year so we have to enjoy the others too!!:D Anyway, there's Richmond coming next........more bent fenders for your enjoyment!! Hehehehehehehehe.........I admit, I like bent fenders too!!:)

watched it off and on today..but caught the end when Jeff won:D

Welcome Jude....
nice to have you here.......:)
you will like it here..everyone is friendly:D

For a track so well known for its history of great racing, I was not really impressed with this years race. First time I've read a book during a race.

It was crystal clean compared to last week! LOL. Lot of passing, no pit strategy, no contraversy and a great finish! Give it a 7.:D

I guess I'd give it a 7. It wasn't all that bad. Maybe just following last weeks race it seemed tamer. LOL

Chat was a 10+ though.

Couldn't agree more Gordon Fan. I'm sure some of the conservative driving by some of the drivers was due to the rain and lack of practice plus everyone was leary of their setups. Any race following a slug fest like the last Bristol race would have a hard time coming up to the same excitement level. I see a lot of people giving this race a pretty low smilie rating saying it was boring, no action, no strategy, and no controversies to speak of. Then I remember all the people who gripe about aggressive driver styles at other races....seems people wanted a race with clean driving and drivers struggling to get their cars to the front without the normal fuel milage thing, and bizsare pit strategy angle. You get a race without all those ingrediates and you think it's boring. I can see where it could be considered boring if you were looking for someone driving like a mad man bullying his way to the front and your driver gets punted or knocked out of the way.....but yesterday's race just wasn't that way. Sort of refreshing for a change. We still have Richmond to get all fired up about again.;)

I'd have to give it a :) :) :) :) :) :) :) . I know a couple of those was because my driver won and I was pacing in front of the T.V for the last 50 laps.(I get kinda nervous when he's in front this year, I haven't gotten to see much of that until the last couple of weeks) I thought that the pit crews really made a difference in the finishing positions of this race. That part of it was exciting but once the best car got out front there wasn't much of a race to watch. The only interesting thing at the end was watching the guys that changes tires try and make their way to the front.

Thought it was a decent race. A little lack of excitement at the end. Once Jeff got up front, the race was for second. I give it 6and1/2 :) .

Darlington is one of my favorite tracks. I think what started this race off on a bad foot for some was the 2 hour rain delay. Most likely a lot of viewers were losing interest before it ever got started. Then when it did, we saw them run caution laps for a while. I enjoy the racing at Darlington, nothing like that Darlington stripe and some history. I'll give this race an 8.

I 'll give it a 3 only cause I like the number, at least jeff didn't totally dominate the whole thing.
I enjoyed the days when they would change tires on every caution even if it had only been 15 laps.
Anyone remember the great lug nut caper which I think was at this same track. It was the same day Ward got his first win.

Not as eventful as races usually are at Darlington --- the passing wasn't really there. Seemed the drivers were being very cautious.
I give it mixed results. hehehe

:) :) :) :snore: :snore:

Because My guy WON :loveya::loveya::loveya::loveya::loveya::loveya:

Otherwise :snore::snore::snore::snore:

I bet Paul slept thru the race due to TOMATO SKIN, poor Paul, needs aloe vera.

PURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR JEFF GORDON

I give it a :victory: :victory: :victory: :victory: :victory: :victory: :victory: :victory: :victory: :victory:!!!! Because the SUPREME 24 won! I thought the race was EXCELLENT!

Why not an even 3000 :( 's? The sponsors had to love all that commercial time during the delay and the first 19 laps!!:)

:bleh: :bored: I will rate it about a 5. Everything was going ok until my boy Harvick hit that oil slick laid down by Little John.

I will have to give it

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Of course this has nothing to do with me being there! <grin>
