If DP had moved up just 4 more spots I bet you would have given the race a 10+.
Plate racing. It is what it is.It was good to see the cars back on the track. But I am concerned about team racing when I see the 4 Gibbs cars running nose to tail and the 2 Penske cars doing the same thing.

That includes a well deserved point for the Monster representative and another point for the TV coverage that included more long distance continuous shots showing a bunch of cars racing for position rather than just the usual quick close-up look at two or three bunched-up cars at a time.
Kinda reminded me of the coverage from "back-in-the-day" when they didn't use so many cameras.
It's going to be a long time before we see another checkered flag with all the cars still running.Agree. Small field played into this. Maybe we don't need 40 cars. Then again the new rules are going to shave field sizes through attrition pretty well. Time will tell.
That's a good point! A 16 car grinder (wreck) might be a different deal.9.22...kudos for NASCAR not throwing a caution when the wreck started in turn 1. We actually got to see them "race back to the line" for a change at a restrictor plate track!
