O.K., here's my take on the race, I just watched the tape...
The first wreck on lap nine...I know the real fault is the plate, but if I had to pick someone to blame it would be Vickers. Way too soon to come up and make it 5 wide, Kyle was already pinched in the middle and Vickers could have used some patience and waited. (Too much testosterone and not enough sense).
I don't know what the hell Jr. was doing, he was ALL OVER the track and the only thing he didn't bounce off of was the Mustang pace car. Had he not blown up, he may have eventually collected the entire field.
Excellent run for both J. Gordon and E.Sadler, the two best cars, in my opinion.
H. Sadler, however, needs to put down the cell phone and pay attention to what's in front of him. He about drove through Harvick.
Nice race strategy by Stewart, lay back and wait to pounce.
Bad deal for Mark.(Still in the top 5, though).
Good run for Edwards (even though Jr. tried to wreck him numerous times).
Not a Johnson fan by any chance, so I didn't like the outcome. I believe the two best cars were the 24 and the 38, in that order.
Still, one of the best plate races in a long time. I'll give it a 9.
Hate the plate.
