RATE THE RACE: Dover

Based on what I saw, the last 100 laps of the race, I'll give it 5.

Kez is now 11th, and just 8 points out of 7th, so I'm upping the race score to 10. not really

I'll go with a 7. Too bad Gordon got caught up and didn't get the chance to race Jimmie for the win.

Race 7
TV 7
Announcers -1

Will be able to listen to all of the races except the Trucks now that super stupid Mikey is gone. Will be muting only the trrucks.

6.
Had it's moments here and there. Pretty cool camera shots from inside the bridge overlooking the backstretch.
But, yeah, a 6 sounds about right.

Dover is an awesome track. The exit from turn two is one of the best corners in NASCAR. Even a bad race at Dover would get a 6 and this was far from a bad race. PLUS there was a 13 car melee for all you crash addicts out there!
Race: 8
TV Coverage: 7.5
End of the Waltrip Bros. Comedy Hour: 100
Retirement of Dr. Dirt: -100

I'll give the race a 6 rather than a 7 or 8 since I'm a little pissed. The racing was good and a nice change from the cookie cutters, but NASCAR ruined Jeff's chances of winning with a "debris" caution. No explanation of what the debris was. Had the last set of pit stops cycled through under green, he would have been up near the front.

but NASCAR ruined Jeff's chances of winning with a "debris" caution.

Yeah, NA$$CAR friggin HATES Jeff Gordon sooooo much that they will throw phantom cautions to keep him trapped a lap down during a race where he had one of the 2 strongest cars. Also, Jeff Gordon winning would be BAD for NA$$CAR!

I am assuming that you were being sarcastic, PeopleAreStrange. I hope I am right...

It's probably all just part the continuing vendetta against Jeff Gordon.

I'm not saying that NASCAR threw the caution to ruin Jeff's day. I doubt they would want to do that. But that's what happened after what seemed like a random caution.

Was there and enjoyed it I'll give it a 7 for Kasey's 7th straight top 10. Would have been better but I counted at lap 50 and there were 26 cars on the track.

And the crowds at Dover keep getting worse and worse. Every single race there are less people there.

I thought there were more then the 2011 spring race, but I'm awful with estimating numbers.
