RATE THE RACE: Kentucky

I turned the channel to Everyboy Loves Raymond well before the race was over so that pretty much sums it up.

5. Pretty average. Not sure why the first two cautions were even thrown.:idunno:

Hope the folks in the stands enjoyed the race from where they were sitting.
This track sorta reminds me of a mini Michigan. Not sure if that's a good thing.

First one was a planned competition caution.

Second caution was thrown because of debris -- the debris was stuck in I-71 and couldn't make it to the track sooner.

Forgot about the competition yellow.

But, yeah, the phantom debris and David Ragan getting squirrely - I didn't see anything warranting those cautions.

maybe instead Kentucky next year they could race the new F1 track in Texas. Yea that's the ticket a roadcourse. That, isn't cookie cutter.

Perhaps my score will be considered unfair due to the fact I walked the corgis, had a snack, and took a short nap.

All in all, I'd give it a 3. After the entertainment at Daytona last week, this makes two weeks in a row NASCAR hasn't offered much.

I rated Daytona a "1," based on promotional efforts and Kentucky is rated a total of 3. It received a "1" for promotional effort, "1" point for being able to call it a legitimate race rather than a demolition derby, and "1" point for on track action, passing, excitement, etc..

First race I've ever turned off with less than 50 laps to go.......Did anyone EVER Pass for the lead???

Last traffic report indicated the debris was still on I-71

The traffic, walking, and even the race sucked. BUT getting to sit on a pitbox for the start and end of the race I'll give it a 10!

Only got the last 40 laps, and once again strategy wins again. I don't know what happened for first couple of hundred laps, good thing thiis wasn't a 500 miler.

Maybe these cupsters need another attempt at Kentucky. Most of all the Busch and truck races I have watched from there looked pretty competitive.

Even I was bored, and that's saying alot. I usually love all the races. I'll give it a 1. I'll take last week's Daytona race anytime over the snoozefest last night.
