Race 5
TV 6
Lots of dead spots.

I can't give a number, but it wasn't a terrible race. Denny made it interesting at the end, and there was obviously enough passing throughout the day.

TNT, though, gets a rating of "Good Riddance." Not sure how they can justify that many commercials and that poor of a job.

I can only give it a 7 . The slower cars couldn't pass the faster cars .Maybe Nascar can put in a new rule .

I give it an 8. Kahne got a pivotal win, the 11 team made a mistake under pressure. The 11 team was the better car, that's why they run the races.

Dissapointed with the Viagra commericials with no women today (it is a TNT race, and based on the quanitity, quality is a part of the deal)

Not only did the 11 team make a mistake, the driver did too. Just plain old overdrove it while trying to catch Kahne. At least twice he went in way to hard and drifetd up the track losing ground. The second time he's luck he didn't end up in the wall

I agree. Kahne said his tires were starting to spin coming off the corners late in the run, but he looked smooth or like he wasn't overdriving and he also said something like he was feathering the throttle. If Hamlin had went easier into the corners those last few laps he would have at least had a better chance (slowing down to speed up is a tough discipline).

Monday morning quarterbacking I realize.

I give it a 5....wasn't horrible...wasn't anything special...at least Hamlin didn't win

Wow, some of you must have saw a lot more go on than I did. I'm giving it a 3. Except for Hamlin and Johnson, no one could come from midpack to the front. I saw a lot of guys running about the same position most of the race.

I'll give it the number of passes for the lead under green.
Yeh I didn't see any, I'd like to know how many passes there have been this year under green for the lead. Doesn't seem like there have been too many, I certainly didn't see any today, although I was flipping around the channels watching baseball because the race was so damn boring. I'll give the race a 4.

It's bad when baseball's better than the race.

Yeah, I'd like to know the quality lead changes as well. So often, NASCAR and the media tell us a race was great because it had 17+ lead change even though all the lead changes are during pit stops.

5
Like I said once before - just can't rate anything lower than that because at least I'm watching NASCAR racing. Could be worse. That said, 5 is average, and I felt the race was just that.

Glad to see Jr finish well. Seems like pit stops were more important than ever today.

Shall we rate the Brickyard now or wait and suffer through it ? I don't think the ratings will change any .:D

I'm actually hopeful that Indy will be real good this year. Why, you ask? The tire they brought last year resulted in lots of passing because of 2 and 4 tire strategies. Gordon was coming at the end, but fuel mileage ruined the finish. It was still a decent race, far better than Loudon.

winner 10, but I wasn't home to watch the race so I can't judge that.
