Great Race! I'll give it 9:D . I really liked watching Jamie win in just his second try, and of course Ol Total em getting the blame for that wreck. Great Action, and A Great Race...

Im sure everyone gonna be saying 9 and 10 becuase of the ending but I thought most of the beggining and middle was sorta boreing but I will say the ending was great I give it a 7

I'll give it a 10. Good racing, a wreck to keep it interesting, and a rookie winner. (And my driver Mikey finished decent). That's the type of race I look forward to.

I give it an :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) . Good race from beginning to end, but great results. A ten would be order if it went caution free, which I thought it might there for a while!! Pit strategy played a role, but drivers were able to show their stuff for a change!! Great race!!

I'll give it :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) , great racing all the way through, that was also a great victory lane celebration.

I give it:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D and a :beerchug: Great job by Jamie. Good, solid pit work by the crews. I'd have rated it higher if Jeff would have won.

I'll give it an 8:) simply because of the outstanding job Jamie did.

There were boring stretches, but there were times when the racing was really, really good.

Why was it boring to some of you? Because there were no cautions to tighten the field up until near half way? Heck, I would have given it a ten if it had gone caution free and Jamie was on the lead lap all by himself!! Just no action, I guess........as if the best car (and driver) didn't win, I guess.:(

When cars go in a single file line for long periods of times it boring to some people.

You, however, stated that this last Talladega race had "some of the best racing you've ever seen". When what I saw was a single file line of cars for 50 laps.

Some people like to see cars racing each other as opposed to driving in a circle follow the leader style.

It wasn't boring to me. I was in the other room for most of the first half... hehe

Or for you they could be racing where you can only see maybe two cars and the same time

Well, since FOX/FX and NBC/TNT have taken over the broadcasts and only focus on the top 3 or 5, I guess your point is taken. But I watch the leader ticker as much as the race......positions change constantly. And to give NBC credit, they did show some of the passes on replays. Guess us new fans don't think it's a good race unless there is side by side, fender knocking, wall scraping action every lap. Isn't that what NASCAR is trying to achieve with all their rule changes?

It wasn't a boring race for me.:)

Who said anything about you being a new fan?

Why not keep your condescending remarks to yourself?

the leader ( dont matter which one you look at ) had a second lead during the whole exept for the last few laps and even though it was exiting there was very little position changes then.

Condescending? Guess it could be taken that way..........sorry.

Wasn't the intent though.

6 :) s. Ward got wrecked again, so it starts with a base 5. Seeing the kid win this early bumps it up one.

I'd give it a 7,great race,even had a 10 car pile-up for the wreck-fast fans,lol!!!:D

I give it a 10
Why?
First time winner and a surprise at that... CONGRATS JAMIE
Bobby Labonte finaly had a good run
All 3 PE cars in the top 25 again
Tony kept the points lead
Jeff gordon lost ground on the points lead
and to top it off

EVERYONE IS OK!!!!!!!!!

I would give it a 9. There was some great racing, the end was worth watching, Tony kept the points lead, and Jamie winning was a surprise but a good one.

:) :) :) :) :) :) Not a great race, but ok,and nice to see a new face in victory lane.I Think it had a lot to do with Sterlings notebook. Not taking anything away from Jamie,he did a good job following the blueprints.

Aside from the finish, which was heightened because McMurray was the leader, it was pretty boring.

Had that been a regular front-runner in the lead, it would have been even more yawn-inducing.

Dodge won and Tony increased the points lead. Pretty darn good day in my book.

Race is a 9.........could have been a 10 if Tony could have won it!

8 :) 's. There were some boring stretches, but other stretches of good, solid racing. Jamie's win gives it an extra :) or 2, and while I don't like seeing Ward wreck, you have to admit that it was rather humorous watching his interview, what with the accent and all. :D

Sweetie, do YOU think Craven has an accent too? :D

Of course Craven does. He's got the old northerner's accent, like me.

Give it 10 :) 's.

Gotta love a first time winner, and a first time winner in only his 2nd start is just about as impressive as it gets.

Me too, from time to time:thumbsup: But I have learned how to translate Ward and unterstand him pretty well :D

I can understand Ward too, it's just darned comical to hear him talk.

BTW, wasn't this supposed to be a Rate the Race thread?
