Figured I would start something new...So...From here on out until the end of the season, You will have the elite oppourtunity to Rate the Race. Now, you can rate the race on a scale of 1-10 smiley faces. 1:) for a very bad race 10:) for a very good one.

So to Start If off, I will give Michigan :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) Smiles. It was a great race with 3 major grooves. The racing was great and the Aero Push didnt seem to be as evident. Also "drama" on TNT as Todd Parrott put it, was seen with DJ came back from a spin to win the race.

That was a good race. Dale going from spin to win was good to see. :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I thought it was surprisingly good. I never did see the debris on the last cautiuon, did I miss something?? Maybe I stepped away when they showed it.

I give it: :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) would have given it another :) if Smoke coulda won it :D

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) A cool rating system,AB.All in all I was pretty pleased with the race.Hope Bristol is kinder to my favorites though!lol

:) :) :) :) :) :)

Yup, only 6. Woulda been a 9 had it not been for nascar's manipulation of the outcome.

DJ's yellow flag to keep him on the lead lap. Late race mystery yellow to give Burton's Ford a chance to cool off.

Best racing of the day was Spencer trying to stay near the front to try to get his lap back. He was driving the wheels off that thing.

Well, since I had DJ on my Yahoo fantasy team, and since the bowtie parade wasn't able to block the whole track (What'd y'all think of that move by Awesome at the green flag?) I give it :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) .

For this type of race track and all I guess I'll give it a :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :). I was thrilled to see Bobby run in the top five again even if only for a little while.

:) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Was a little miffed at the "mystery caution" too.

I thought Spencer did a horrible job actually, he needed to get the hell out of the way. He had had plenty of chances to get back on the lead lap earlier.. I think he hurt Tony's chances in particular, but JMO.

An :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) from here too, but it is getting to be old news seeing JG going backwards most of the day.

Loomis is taking the blame on their web site. Whatcha think? Is it crew or driver making the 24 a middle of the pack regular.

I'll give it a :):):):):):):)

The Chevys didn't dominate nearly as much as I hoped, but it was a good, competetive race so it was still fun to watch. A poetic ending for DJ just made it that much more entertaining.

Looking forward to rating Bristol... :D

I agree. He totally screwed Tonys chances on the last restart. And after a few laps he was still there. Not the biggest deal in the world, but it would have been nice to see what Tony had if he could have gotten the lead before Jarrett was coming.

Ya I was waiting on Jimmy to drop a chicken leg,or something,I thought he was gonna take the whole front out.

(borrowing from one of my favorite movies, Blazing Saddles) pbunch Johnson is right! Spencer has never been accused of being a gentleman, and I won't be the first. He should have stayed out of the way after the restart when he failed to get his lap back. Almost every one of the drivers does this, knowing that some day the table could be turned. Much as I like Jimmy's give a crap attitude, I don't think he'll have to worry about being blocked as the leader too often. I don't think Tony had anything for DJ, but it would have been nice to find out. DJ had a rocket all day. I too was a little nervous about Mr. Excitement causing too much excitement. But he didn't, there was no blood, so no foul.

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) I give Michigan 7 for some good door to door racing and really great finish with Dale Jarret coming from 17th to catch up to Burton and win the race.

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
i would of gave :) :) more to make a perfict 10 but Kyle cant get off of this mid 20s thing that he has been on ifor the past 5 or so races

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

As far as the race was......I had no idea who, exactly would win until the middle of turn 3 on the final lap! That's what I watch races for.......who's gonna win? With 20 laps to go I had Jr, then I thought Burton was unbeatable........Tony was coming on strong and I really doubted DJ could do it! Jimmy's trying to get back on the lead lap was exciting to say the least.......just a little "drama" in case a few weren't getting enough! How many races do any of you recall that had close to five potential winners with less than 20 laps to go? I say it was a great race.....my guy didn't win (I think he wound up 12th) but wow, what a race!! Congratulations to DJ!!:D

DE: your guy's Ricky Rudd?

Or did you mean Junior in 10th?

Who exactly is your guy? Not Jimmy Spencer?

You're right abooja.........I was thinking Rudd with all the silly season stuff!!

Jr's was my guy.......but I am not unhappy that DJ won either!!:)

Come on now.........why can't I cheer Jimmy on? I do sort of like him and I think he takes bum raps about crap that happens on the track. I'm not a fan of his but I will stick up for him when I see him being accused of stuff that others get away with simply because his name is Jimmy Spencer! Besides, he fun to poke fun at too!!:)

Don't get me wrong, DE. I like Jimmy Spencer too. Think he brings a lot of...entertainment to the table. I just didn't think you preferred him as a driver is all. :)

I also like Ricky Rudd. (He's my 2nd favorite.)

And I, too, was happy for DJ.

*sigh...I'm such a fabulous person...*

Damn, I hate to go against the Jimmy Spenser fan club and all :uhmnotsur

But dude needed to get out the way on that last restart! :D

Yeah he did HH, that's not the first time I remember him doing that either.

What I saw was Jimmy was trying to get out of the way!! But, everyone was all over him (high, low........and a time or two almost through him)!! It was funny in a way......but it was irritating at the same time.:)

I kinda wished he had extendo wheels on his car like Inspector Gadget so that he could just raise up out of the way.

Unfortunately not funny if you were a Tony Stewart fan when he had a legit chance of getting by and racing for the lead.... Not wanting to ruffle feathers, but he cost him a few seconds in the run for the lead IMO. But hey , to each his own (buscuits and jelly) :)

I believe they're giving that rule change to the Dodges exclusively this Saturday, Paul. ;)

Ok, since I may never get this chance again, I'm giving the race a :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) ! I mean really, how often does a girl get to see her two favorite drivers finish 1 & 2 and wouldn't have cared if they'd finished with a swap? LOL The downside was I wanted Ricky Rudd to finish higher as he's close to my heart also.

Thought the race was exciting. Must have had 30 potential winners picked out before the end and DJ wasn't one of them early on. LOL
