RATE THE RACE: Michigan

I actually cant rate this race because I only watched the green/white/checker laps because I slept through the rest of them. I will say Congratulations to Jr, Rick and the entire 88 team.

6. I'm one of those rare people these days that thinks there's no such thing as a bad NASCAR 'Cup race. :beerbang:

Kudos to Dale Earnhardt Jr for winning the race and getting that monkey off of his back.:beerbang:

This was one of the better Michigan races --- and no, not just because the 88 won.

I'll go a an 8.
I agree. After being up till midnight, then waking back up at 6:30 to watch the Le Mans race, then going to church, then watching the race, I still have not fallen sleep. This was a good race.

I rate it a 7. Leaders were breaking away, but Eury Jr. Deserves that fat paycheck this week. We were down to the milliliters of fuel in the tank I think.

Michigan is fast

Hello Everyone,
I'm new here but excited none the less! Todays race was good but it sure seemed to go fast! I was distracted quite a bit and so before I knew it, it was 3/4's over. My drivers Carl and Matt were up front most of the day,but fell out towards the end. AT least the #20 didnt get the win!!!

I'm happy for Jr. he has worked realy truly hard all though last season and with all the crud that his DEI family put him though I not surprized he was shaky early in the season. I still think about the race he won the day his father was taken from us. How do you celeabate knowing, it was the race your hero died in.
Anyway, Im glad to be here and would enjoy hearing from anyone else who partakes in Online Raceing in the Nascar 2003 format. Im a race fan and a gamer, who cant afford to have a real race car but can drive with some of the top Sim racers in the country and sometimes from across the globe.

I hope to meet most of you some time or another, and join in the forms
Until then Thanks
Brad

P.S. Thats the truck I race in On-Line for the Craftsman Series....Sweet!!!

It was an OK race, but I'm sick of the fuel milage crap. Congrates to Jr. great job by his crew chief, said if it stayed green, he would have lost, racing gods bailed him out. Mi. is never a real exciting race, you see the cars 4 & 5 wide and you figure a race will break out, but it seems to always stay ho hum. I had no doubts that Jr. would win a race, he's been running very well this year. I rate the race at a 5. Duane

I'll give it a 6. Some passing, not a whole lot. The end made for some good drama, but not much racing.

That's exactly what I was thinking. At least it wasn't a standard fuel mileage race wehere the eventual winner just stays out and wins by a lap because he slowed down and everyone had to pit. Jr and Kahne not pitting during the last caution did add some great drama, and they had to hit the gas and go as fast as they could and hope not to run out of gas, instead of simply pedal to save gas.

5 I failed to stay awake when I tried to rewatch it. The ending, maybe a 7 to see who might run out of gas. So I guess that makes it a 6.

6 seems about right. Knowing what you know would you still have watched the race? I wouldn't have.
