I give it a 2.

Michigan, I just cannot wait for California!

First, I want to thank NASCAR for boring me to hell and back. In doing so, I have not had to suffer through an entire race, knowing full well what to expect.
So like always, I gave the last 8 laps my attention. Yea, I know, even at that, it was probably too much.

Rating = 1

LMAO even though I totally took a huge 3 hour + nap I agree. Your posts just crack me up btw!

I'll give it a generous 4

Hamlin winning I will give a -1

I haven't been this put out with a race in a long time.

Doesnt sound like we missed much. We made 4 passes at the local strip ;)

I'm soooo happy!

I'm not alone. I thought maybe I was expecting a real race.. But I read here some other folks agree with me. Just because the cars were painted so pretty I'll give it a .75..
Betsy:rolleyes:

I've been going to MIS since 2005, maybe I should quit. I usually enjoy the ARCA and Truck series races but the cup races are too long and boring at this track. They should shorten this race by half.

It sure didn't translate over TV very well. It's probably one that you had to be at to enjoy. Typical Michigan/Fontana type race IMO but racing none the less.

I think Jim Utter said it pretty well in his REAR-VIEW MIRROR column.....

You can't please all of the people ...

I would love to know what fans think is the perfect race.

Some people didn’t like Sunday’s race because it had only a few cautions and long green-flag runs. Others don’t like the wreck-fests which typically are at the superspeedways of Daytona and Talladega.

If only a side-by-side, down-to-the-wire finish will do, many race fans will remain disappointed most of the time.

The trucks put on a good show at Mich.

There were about 3 laps where Stewart, Kahne and Johnson were swapping positions (often times 3-wide)...I'd give that a 10. Of course it only lasted about 2 laps. The rest.....2

Nah, but being pretty much 100% sure who was going to win the race more that 50 laps out doesn't help....

And I enjoyed every lap. :beerbang: It was a tad steamy there but not as bad as the Brickyard typically is.

Your unhappiness is probrably summed up to the fact that Gordon no longer dominates like Hamlin, and Johnsons horseshoe has turned upside down and fell out. I enjoy atleast for a little while someone besides those two getting hooked up and winning races.

I'd give a 5 tops, I watched the baseball game more than the race, pretty much a typical Michigan race.
