RATE THE RACE: Pocono 500

I give it a solid 8. Lots of side-by-side racing, good racing. The last 10 laps was probably the worst stretch of the race. Wild Thing crashed, twice! :D Lots of good strategy all around - pretty solid race all around.

Hey, since my boy won, I'll give it a ten. But I've gotta say that having the new Buddy made it for me. Without that, I'd have probably given it an 8 or less.

If RaceBuddy had a myspace, he'd be in my top 8 :XXROFL: j/k

That was nice. I hope NASCAR rolls it out as a pay-for feature or something. Hell I'd pay for that every week.

5. some excitement, butmostly follow the leader. Whoever was in front, was gone. everybody else was stuck in the train.

Almost reminded me of NHIS 2001.

Any 500 mile race is going to have its slow moments, but there was enough excitement in this one to keep me interested. And any time I can feel good about the winner it's a great day. :beerbang:

The race surprised me big time, considering I find most of the Pocono races boring. I give it an 8, race coverage a 6, and the Race Buddy a 100/10. I'm with Andy. If they roll this out as a pay feature on NASCAR.com, I'm in.

I think it was ok. Kinda boring. TNT sucks like always. Burton had a good day. And a hms car didnt win :)

The race was 5 at best. Only some small periods of racing. Usually whoever got out front on two or four tires, ran away.

I'm glad I have DVR, watch it in high speed untill I see smoke and check it out, when the racing gets good I can watch! Works for me. Duane

Ill say seven.. altleast it wasnt only 6 people on the lead lap like last week but it was pretty much just follow the leader.. Kyle wrecked himself so it was worth the roundy round action!!..lol But I really must say Im not impressed with TNT coverage.. I actually miss DW and his upbeat attitude!!

I always miss DW and Hammond when their gone.

It was nice to see the Kodak colors back in a 'Cup race again.

IMO that's always been one of the best looing paint schemes.:beerbang:
