Rate the Race - Pocono I

Wouldnt go as far as a 9...
Give it a 7. Interesting for pocono

Hard to follow the race with all the different pit schedules.

I'll give it a 7.8, it had some of everything in it, just basically a fun one.

An 8 is flirting with perfection a nine is tops and 10 can be achieved only if Smo@# gets into the chase and takes the final Checkered flag of the season.
A 7.5is above average in my book, I just love racing and the more going on the better.

There will be some 10s this year, I just know there will. Watkins Glenn and Sonoma should be 2 of them

Very enjoyable race with all the twists and turns.
Too bad for Stewart, impressive comeback by Johnson, and always love watching the #88 Chevy take the checkers first.

I just wish Danica got out of Brad's way so Jr could have run him down on his own. Sucks that she played a big factor on the outcome of this race.
Now, time to hit the beach here in Arizona!!

After the craziness in turn 1 after the restarts there wasn't that much side-by-side action. Kinda hard to like the finish since the winning move was caused by stupidity instead of an actual pass.
 
The family and I will have steak for dinner (courtesy of my daughter the Junior fan)

I quite enjoyed the race, despite taking a little nap during it. I give it an 8.

The 1 hour directors cut is tommorow night, but there was a half hour episode today. We were just talking about it on the Kurt double documentry thread.
 
6. I only saw one pass for the lead on the racetrack all day. One of the more bland Pocono races other than all the bs land rush restarts.


Loved the finish though!
 
8 would have given it a 7.5 but an extra .5 for Keselowski's deal at the end.
