OK, first off, I'd give most of it a 7. Good racing in the pack, but it looked like the headlines were gonna read "Local Boy Stinks Up Show." But then, suddenly, HOLY CRAP! What a finish! Yes, controversy abound, bad feelings, a wreck, and a surprise winner. The ending was one for the ages. 10+

I'm sure Hamlin fans and Earnhardt fans might differ, but jeez. Even if the winner wasn't who you might have wanted, the last part of the race had it all.

10, all race. You, obviously, weren't watching the same race as I was.

2 and 3 wide action all night long. Even 4 wide at times. There was never a lack of good racing.

You're right Andy, because you were there. I was watching the incredibly bad Fox coverage again, who opts for the crappy specialty camera at every opportunity, thus denying us viewers of actual racing that we can see. Just about all we saw on Fox was Hamlin leading, and a few shots of some racing back in the pack.

Lots of great action, but I'm always left with an empty feeling when the outcome is decided by rough driving late in the race. Some of my friends hate Richmond, but they'll have to eat their words now!

a good high 7 or 8. 3 and 4 wide on a 2 lane track makes action quickly.
