6. Good action on track, but too many cautions. Between the two wrecks in oil and the tire problems early, it looked like Indianapolis.

I think they need to repave the track. The track just doesn't have any grip anymore.

I'll go an 8.5 --- good racing in many grooves.

And actually, many drivers said the track has better grip since they quit putting the sealer on it.

I think I would have to give it a solid 9. It was a very interesting race, lots of racing everywhere.

Especially the end --- boy, did the booth and race control ever screw up the results.

I was happy with the racing but bummed by the results. Kasey missed the chase and Bobby came from a lap down to the top ten but let the car get away from him.

IndyCar Series proved right there that the sanctioning body is a joke. :beerbang:

A joke? What they proved right there (and we all know how much you hate the IRL, and kinda wish you would go away...) is that the IRL puts on much better racing than the COT could ever dream about. When you're talking qabout 1/1000 of a second, it could have been no more than the placement of the transponder that showed the 9 car with the win.

If only you would open your eyes and see things as the really are, instead if *****ing about things constantly, we'd all be better of.

Wow, the IndyCar Series had ONE good race this season.

Go watch the closing laps of the ARCA races this year. EVERY ARCA race this season has come down to the final 2 laps.

You really need to pay attention Andy, no one said anything about ARCA. The IRL continously puts on a better show than NASCAR.

How is it a joke, there races are always exciting to watch. The COT is a joke, most races are just ran single file now, and dont even get me started with running the COT at INDY.

oh yes rate the race

cup series = 8 least there was some side by side racing today.

Nationwide series race = 7 it was ok but not enough passing

IRL race = 10 (one of the greatest races i have seen in some time including nascar) :)

NASCAR: 8.2. I wanted to see the old Tony for a second.

IRL: 11. Awesome race. Last few laps was some great racing.

Nationwide: 5. Just because I was not really interested after the cup race and the IRL race.

ARCA: sucks. Because its ARCA.

Andy: 0. His opinions are idiotic.

I watched several IndyCar races this year and fell asleep on 'em between the drivers whining about "oh he's within 30 feet of me"
drama.gif
and "Danica races me hard"
baby.gif
and the 10 lap cautions and the boring single file racing at most of the tracks.

The road course races in Indy are awful. NASCAR puts on an amazing show every time they race on the road courses which is where IndyCar's supposed to be more exciting. Not to mention the lack of speed compared to the ChampCar turbo chasis.

I stopped watching IndyCar because it's IMPOSSIBLE for me to stay awake for an hour with it on.

NASCAR shouldn't be racing at Indy to start with. The IndyCar races at Indianapolis are, at best, mediocre. NASCAR at Indy: Horrible. IRP is the real stock car track in town. :beerbang:

I give the race an easy 8. I might have given it a higher number if the first two cars swapped positions.

Please, Andy, since you hate IRL sooo much, and stopped watching it, pleeeeaaasssse quit posting about it. Some of us enjoy IRL racing and are quite tired of your uniformed ignorate posts complaining about it.

ARCA races are good after they get all the rookies and little-talent drivers out of the way at the first of the race.
Agreed. Well, it's not too bad. Only reason Kentucky was a wreckfest was because of two drivers. The races aren't normally like that. Even Rockingham had a lot of green flag racing. And the green flag racing in ARCA is superb when SPEED decides to show it to us.

SPEED has improved greatly. Instead of focusing on two drivers, they're finally showing side-by-side racing and talking about other drivers.

ARCA is what Busch Series Racing used to be before the Cup drivers took over the series.

I hope Sean Caisse gets into NASCAR and tries that crap he pulls in ARCA on Flipper or Smoke.

There, I fixed that for you...

i nominate this for post of the year :)

Is'nt this rate the richmond race thread? Or rate richmond, IRL, ARCA. Also this is NASCAR chat not ARCA chat or IRL, if you like or dislike that type of racing then take it over there.
