I didn't see a race!

What I see at these plate tracks is a jumble of wrecks and many leaders and the winner is who HAPPENS to be in front at the end. Yes it is exciting to see the daredevils driving so close together at 200 mph. But thay ain't racing! And the BEST team isn't the winning team...unless by accident they HAPPEN to be in the lead at the finish.

I would say a 4. I still don't like restrictor plate racing.

I'll go with 9.75. Take off 0.25 of a point for the one stretch of follow the leader after the Big One II and for a controversial finish that could have been made clearer beforehand.

10. Many people don't like plate racing, but I've always like Dega. Cars at 190, two and three wide. Unpredictable, disaster can happen at any minute (though we hope it doesn't)

I love dega and daytona but 8, 9, 10? I'll give it a 7 no higher because of the controversy and the dam tires blowing left and right.
