Rate the race: SoCal II

I'd have to agree, a rare and exciting race for Fontana, 10.

8 I only saw lap 96 to the end and was partly zoned out but good and I hate Cali with a passion

Maybe Cali has always been this good and ESPN's perv guy just didn't know crap:D

I didn't see the whole race (did see the ending). Seemed like a solid 8 if not better than that. The best California race they've had.

Great racing start to finish... Stewart first, Newman fifth, Martin sixth and in all five of my favorite drivers in the top ten.

Easily a 10.

Very conflicted,,,
I was really looking forward to Mark winning but then Boyer was right there contending. Would have been nice to see him to rub Na$cars nose in it. Then here comes Tony, followed closely by Harvick and Newman.
Oh boy, what to do?

The good: Tony won, JJ didn't:) shrub blowed up:D:D:D:D:D
The bad: Another late race caution :rolleyes:robbing Boyer, Hambone didn't blow up.:(

8. By far one of the best races I've seen at this track. To bad it hasn't produced races like that more often.

I was thinking about this some more. The fake debris cautions bother me a lot, but they saved the show. Not sure how I feel about this one...

9, funny how Fontana puts on one of its best races right after they announce there taking one of there races away.

Last race at the Rock and Kenseth edged Kahne by the bumper

Close finishes and exciting racing were the norm at Rockingham, which was one of the reasons fans were upset about that race being shipped off to California. Sure, Rockingham had boring races, but even Bristol has boring racing. In fact, boring races have become the norm at Bristol and Richmond.

Sigh* I miss the days you could circle Bristol in at the beggining of the season, that the races there would be a 10/10.

I agree, for Fontana, it was a good race. Usually at Fontana, where you qualify is pretty much where you finish.
