Race: 1 (Pretty sad NASCAR had to throw a caution for no reason to save it)

ESPN/ABC coverage: 1

My mid-race nap: 10:)

Did anyone else want to throw a brick in the TV when ESPN teased us with the 2nd place battle then panned on JJ for the entire lap?

If everyone would put him on ignore, we wouldn't notice his griping. :)

What she said....

Was about a 6...way way way too long but otherwise better than last year :)

It was pretty boring for the most part, but the last 50 laps was fun. 6.

Personally, I'd rate it a 9. I have no idea what race Andy was watching, but this was one of the best I can remember at this track. Lots of side-by-side racing. It was a little slow in the middle, but otherwise had great action through-out. I really loved the battles between the #42 and #48, plus the #88 and #2 until Dale got wrecked.

I remember last year when they announced that the Fall Auto Club race would be moved into the Chase to replace Atlanta. Well, they must have been onto something because both races that switched were good this year.

Racing in the bright October Sun with the cooler air temps really seemed to make this a better race.

A couple of 3 lap sprints because of a bull**** debris caution and several wrecks makes a great race?

Ive learned to take Andys rantings with a grain of salt. I mean, he does rate every Pocono race a 10(while talking about how awful every other track is...he is the Bizzaro Race Fan).

Seriously Andy, stop being such a child. Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make their opinion invalid.

Sometimes I wonder if you like being on the fast-track to getting kicked off this board.

I never said your opinion was invalid. Take a chill pill.:)

I stated my opinion. A few three lap sprints and a huge wreck doesn't make a great race. JMO.

Generous. Sure, there was some side by side racing, but mostly it was a 6 or more second lead by the 48. It may have been one of the best at that track, but that doesn't necessarily make a it a good race.

I thought Andy went as far as making a thread to say he WASN'T going to watch this race.

Ok, so everyone is entitled to an opinion on the race....except....Andy.

Come on, give him a break. Opinions don't have to agree. I thought it was a pretty decent race, and, I gave it a 7. If andy thinks it was a 1, that is only his opinion.

Generally, you are correct. However, being an admin it isn't a good idea to put anyone on ignore. Although, I might have to make an exception in his case and leave it to the others to take care of him. ;)

Overall, I thought it was about a 6. The first 40-50 laps were good and the last 45 laps were really good. Some decent battles between Johnson, Montoya, and others for the lead, but then check out. That made it a little ho-hum there in the middle. But it was one of the better California races, not that it's saying much.

Alright...I think i'll like it here, but only cuz EVERY SINGLE MEMBMER doesn't b***h about NASCAR! Its only some people.

I would give it a 6 as well! For the first 3/4 of the race, it was Johnson domination with no competition when he was out front. Though it did take some cautions to make things interesting, it worked! I enjoyed those last 40 or so laps quite a bit!

Ah, well....you know Andy: he needs something to complain about. If he didn't watch it, then he wouldn't be able to tell us how much it sucked.

I actually started dozing off in the middle and I've never done that for a cup race, no matter how boring. I thought the last 50 laps were really good and the last 12 or so, I thought I might get sick I was so nervous. LOL

I guess all considered, I'll give it a 6.

While a 9 mighttle too much, I agree with you for the most part.
