RATE THE RACE: Southern California

Dang good race, not a 10 from me, an 7 but pretty good for Cali. I think I can boost it up too an 8 since I did pick Kyle in spike's game and he won.

Wow, what a finish, what a race. Lots of passing in the field. Used the NASCAR raceview on the ipad, so didn't have to always rely on Fox to show the racing. The surface at California is finally rough enough to feature some good racing. 9.5

9. Great race and I'm super mad I didn't come out and represent at my home track. Haven't been there since 07'. I'll be there next year.

10

Best race ever at Fontana by far. Best race overall for the Cup series in quite a while too.

10. This one beat the last fall race they had there, which was a pretty dang good race.

I don't rate them based on the track, I rate them based on the racing and the entertainment.

10, because I don't care who won when all us fans win.

I never give a number, but DAM, that was good race. I didn't think California Speedway was capable of producing a good race.

10 That was a great race. Hope Dennys ok and love seeing Tony show his arse.

A 10 from me, as well.

This is why I watch NASCAR racing. If anyone asks me why I watch this stuff, I'm just gonna show them the last 12 laps of this race, and everything that followed.

Loved Junior's recovery from that bad pit stop.
Loved Tony's post race interview. Thought he'd be cooled down by the time the cameras caught up with him, but noooooo. It was (bleep)'n great!

The best Nascar race that I have seen. I give it a 10+90=100:D

Days of Thunder. Best race of the day.

The way homeslice was driving after the last restart, Tony's just the first in line to kick his ass.

I was there. It was a 10.
So many guys drove their hearts out to get a good finish; Greg Biffle, Matt Kenseth, Kurt Busch, Carl Edwards, Dale Jr....
So many guys kept shooting themselves in the foot (I won't mention the obvious names.)
Some drivers that were expected to do well, didn't.
It was a great race to attend :D

How was the crowd? Besides the obvious tarps, it looked pretty packed from what I saw on TV

9. This is gonna be the race to beat this year. With all this drama already in the first 5 races though, I think we are set for a great year of racing

10/10 Great race. Shades of the '79 Daytona 500 with the two rivals racing rough and a third party coming around to win the race.

Hope Hamlin is okay. Sounds like he may have a serious back injury. I remember Dale Earnhardt Sr. breaking his back at Atlanta in 98 or 99 or so and it screwed him up for the rest of the season.
