I give it a 2, and that's being giving. Real snoozer, start to finish.

I missed much of the race on the TV, but listened to about half on the radio. Even the radio coverage was tepid at best. I'll give it a weak 6.

ummm, maybe a 4? I switched to the Indy race around 4:30, it wasn't much better

LOL!!! Well it started out exciting with that big wreck, but after that, it was mostly follow-the leader, except for a few. Pretty lame and only 6 cars on the lead lap??! So much for the Crap of Today making things more even and giving us more exciting racing.

I'll give it a 5 and that's being generous. Jeff did get a top 5 and lead a couple of times with pit stops. Seemed like the pits was the place where most could gain some position once in a while. Whoopie!! How thrilling... NOT!

I'll give it a 4. Once the wreck on lap 19 wiped out several contenders, that shot the rest of the day.

Having 6 cars on the lead lap is nothing unusual for Dover. But they usually have a few guys mixing it up at some point. That never happened yesterday. Edwards and Biffle stunk it up during the first half and Busch stunk it up at the end. I think there was only one pass for the lead on the track. All the others happened during pit stops.

I thought the COT was supposed to give us more side by side racing. Kyle and Biffle are my faveorite drivers but I can't stand seeing the lead car being that far out during the race or especially at the end. It seems to me that there are a lot less battles for top positions this year. I was hoping for a yellow at the end just to make the finish more exciting.

I give it a 7
Well it sucks when the other teams don't get with the program. If Kyle was with HMS would the results be the same...He11 no. The new car is fine...The teams have to get better.

Well i was watching mostly the Red Sox game as the race was quite boring, so i'll give it 5.

Give it a 6.5 because today I got my retirement check and feel generous with the .5.

It was pretty dull and there was little going on in the back of the pack when they showed it. Darrell covering Mikey's butt is old hat but there is a reprieve of sorts next week. Wonder who will cover up Mikey's screwups now ???

Crowing about Kyle is over done like a burned hamburger on a gas grille.
Kyle is good, no question. But how many times do we need to hear what a supreme, extraordinary, phenomenal, unparalleled, outstanding, optimum, unsurpassed, top drawer driver he is.
Not only from D.W., but Mike, Larry, Dick and it seemed like everyone felt the need to glorify Kyle.
It got stale when it was Richard Petty in the '70's, Bill Elliott in the mid- 1980's, Dale Earnhardt from mid '80's to early '90's, Jeff Gordon from early '90's to early '00 and then Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. until now and, (groan) Kyle Busch.
Kyle is good and also fun to watch, but all the accolades get a little tiring after while. :)

I agree Whizzer. If I hear him called Wild Thing or Rowdy Busch one more time, I might pull an Elvis and shoot my TV.

Well guys, we need something to talk about, don't we? I for one am glad that the acolades that are thrown his way have proven to me what I heard about him when he was about 16 years old. It was said that he is twice the driver Kurt is, and we are witnessing just that. The next phenom will of course be Joey and if he doesn't add up to the level that Kyle has shown us, many people will unfortunately call him a failure...probably being led by Andy Marquis. Kyle is riding that huge wave right now and sooner or later, that wave will hit the beach and he'll have to paddle back out and find a good crest to ride again. It's hit and miss, but for sure, the talent is there, and it's something that I haven't seen since the late Dale Earnhardt did in the middle of his great career. Kyle is building the reputation that he wants, and at the present, he doesn't care if it's a good reputation or a bad one. But there is something that I've learned from more than one driver (on the local scene), any driver knows that if he is getting the loudest boos, he's either beating the best of the best, or are crashing out the best. You can say what you want about Kyle, but his aggressiveness is why he is getting booed.

That's the closest to the truth right there. I hear a lot of people griping about him being compraed to Dale Sr, but peronally, I don't see that. Actualy (and this is why I think DW is so high on him), he's alot closer to a young Darrel Waltrip. Young, brash, ****y. Fans hate him, and a lot of drivers do too. DW got the nickname of Jaws early in his career simply because he was young, brash, ****y, and winning a lot. Sound familiar?

I like Joey Logano. :idunno:

Lets just hope he doesn't retain a Kyle Busch ego.

We'll just see how long you like Joey. And what if he does get a Kyle Busch ego? So it's Kyle's ego you just can't stand?
He's THE BEST up-and-comer right now.

That said, I know my favorite drivers are stuck in the curse this year. It's an election year, which means all of my favorite drivers are going to score exacly 0 wins and not be a contender. Every 4 years. Harvick and Mark won't win any races this year, it's proven history. :idunno:

I don't know what causes it, but it's history. Harvick will get three more top-five finishes and won't make the Chase. I've done the math, it's proven history.

Maybe the curse will subside long enough for Alli Owens or Chrissy Wallace to pull off a longshot win. ;)

2009. Everything changes in 2009. Harvick will be coming in 2009 and 2010, but not this year.

Please! leave Mark out of your equation. :)

Kyle is so much like Tim Richmond on the track. Richmond made racing Earnhardt look like a Sunday drive. And that was fun to watch.

I'm not sure how much of Kyle's attitude is ego as much as a defense mechanism for the fans who soundly jeer him every week. I read a lot of good things about the young man and many of them point out his desire to be a good role model to young people.

Kyle is the best and will have ups and downs just like every other driver. Today he is flying high and using the momentum of his recent successes to keep things going. Tomorrow could yield a different story but when all is said and done, Kyle Busch will go down in the history books of NASCAR as one of the absolute best, ever.

And geeze Andy. Are you cutting off chicken heads and doing voo-doo dances or something putting the curse on those two drivers you mention ??
Try some incense and rub four leaf clovers together to bring them luck and quit killing those chickens. :D

I'm sure he'll tell you like he told his daddy he ain't kill no chickens...he's just choking his chicken... :D
