Race: 5. Most boring road course race I've seen in years.

Coverage: 1. No replays of several spins. Pit reporters not having a clue what's going on. Announcers getting bad info from pit reporters. Jerry Punch just isn't a good PxP announcer (Jarrett clearly assumed that role today). Too many on board cameras. Not relaying information about free pass or anything. Not updating drivers involved in spins, etc, etc.

Stewart winning instead of seeing the #48 win again: 10:beerbang:

I don't know that I can rate the actual race --- ESPN didn't show me much of the race. The telecast was filled with foot cams/bumper cams/roof cams, nothing but the leader or first 2 cars. I could see some passing in the background, but ESPN didn't bother with that.

So --- rate the race? I can't.

I did not get to see the race but some of the radio broadcast suck too. Usually mrn does a pretty good job but they were a little off. It prob. is pretty hard to call a road course race though.
Smoke winning! Has to be a 10 here.

I was angrier about the constant flow of false information from the pit reporters... AGAIN!

I can deal with the rodent and I'd rather have to listen to Jaws Waltrip.

How bad was the crew guy that JPM hit on pit road hurt? I think it was one of Regan's crew members, but I could be wrong.

race- 8

coverage- there was coverage?

Tony further solidifying a championship run as a rookie owner/driver- 10

The young man's name is David Ragan

Don't correct other people on their spelling when you can't spell David Stremme to save your life. Not that you'll need to know how to spell his name for much longer the way he's driven the last few weeks. ;)

Race: 9 - This is why there needs to be more road courses on the schedule. The only way this could have been better was if Ambrose could have gotten closer to challenge Stewart for the win.

Coverage: 1 - Missed crashes, only watching the top 5 cars most of the race, bad information, etc. Fox and TNT aren't much better, but this was a perfect example on why someone else needs to take over ESPN's broadcast schedule for 2010.

Why would they wait until 2011? He could of put up the same production(probably better) than Stremme this year.

i'm just happy Stewart won it. man he's kickin butt this season, he oughta win this whole deal this year. as for my drivers Truex Jr & Dale Jr, i will hold a memorial for their dead seasons & in Dale Jr's case possibly his career this week.

yep, plus allgaier would get a years seasoning in cup. expectations wouldn't be too high, just equal to or better than stremme. not a real high water mark.
