Except for the fact that Jimmie Johnson won, I was not pleased. Too many problems with the "levigation" eating tires, too many cautions because of tires, only 24 drivers running all the laps, having to have at least 2 (maybe 3) Red Flags, mandating tire pressure well after the race started, etc.
I just thank God nobody was seriously hurt. Don't get me started on the TV coverage!

I give it a 3 and I think that's generous. AND I LOVE CHARLOTTE.

I also love Charlotte but will only give it a 2.5. I just cant go any higher. What I seen sure was not racing. Humpy should hide his face in shame.

I'm normally not one that goes along with what most think of this sport and so it won't come as a surprise that I rate the race at a high 8 or low 9. The simple fact that the danger that was known by all teams made this race even more exciting. My favs took it on the chin, so you can't say that I'm a fair weather fan. I may even kick that rating up another notch after thinking about it. The one draw back I have is that it last so dang long. But hey, at least it was on a Saturday night instead of a work night.

^ I agree. As a fan, it was a great race to watch, but as a driver, it was hell to be in. I, as a fan, give it a 9, but if I was a driver it would definately recieve a 1 or 2.

i give it a 2
i would give it a 1 but stweart wrecked to YEAH

Charolette is usually aweseome. This race had me on the edge of my seat for the WRONG reason: Wondering when the next tire was gonna blow.

I don't mind pit road passes in general, but when it's the only way to pass becuase you can't run more than 20 laps, it gets a boring. Hopefully they 'fix' the track...

I agree. That wasn't a race. I started watching and then turned over to the football game. I'd check back during commercials and I watched the last 30 or so laps.

Give it a 1.5 on a scale of 10.

The calamity reminded me of short track racing where they go like hell for thirty laps and stop. It was nothing more than a series of short track events filled with the wrong kind of suspense wondering at whose expense.

I give it a 3. Even if DJ managed to stay clear of that wreck and finished in the top ten it would not be more then a 4.

I give it a ZERO. I fell asleep, too damn late for a race to be on tv anyway.

Do you ALWAYS get up so early? I was just falling asleep around that time :D

Despite the fact that Rudd ran well, I give this race a 1.5. I tuned in to watch a race and a game of Russian Roulette broke out. After the 4 th or 5th blowout, I was expecting a caution where 10 flats happened at the same time. Now that would be exciting.LOL
