Rate The Race

i caught the first 5 laps on MRN coming from work, i'll rate it around 8-8.5.
 
OH I have to give it a 10 That was a great race for me 10 all the way:p
 
I'll give it a nine. We went out to dinner with some friends and I scheduled the DVR to record the race. The wife did the same on the other TV as well. Well guess what, the recording ended just when Kurt did his spin with 9 laps to go. Ticked? You bet, but I can get over it. I went to NASCAR.com to see who won and they had a five minute video that pretty much picked up the race where I lost it. Yep, as I saw it, it was a 9.
 
9 without a doubt. I think the guys are getting a handle on these new cars.

And what about Jeff Gordon driving the car he had at Darlington last year? That would have been unheard of with the old car.

Hmmm...I have never been asked to rate a race on 1 to 10 scale...course, last season, on ESPU, there were some minus 5's due to lack of info from the yapping heads.

I would say tonight was a 9 !! I loved that Jr won.

Heck, maybe even a 10..except for that LONG delay with Elliotts car up on the wall..can't believe that took so long though I heard the explanations why..the cluster of commercials then and later were annoying.

Ok...a 9. Had it been broadcast like the Pepsi 400 with only 3 minutes of commercials per hour, and the rest commercials PIP, I would've rated tonights race a 12.

Anyway, I WANTED to add it was great to see Jr look SO HAPPY and be so quick to give thanks to his team mates and to Jimmie for the push to help him win.
 
I was in Washington D.C. visiting the museums and eating on this fabulous day. I couldn't stand to stay inside and watch a meaningless race. :)

I'll have to give it a 7 or so, it was ok not a whole lot of drama, but it was great to see Jr so happy, i think he deserves it, hope he has a great season as he is one of my fantasy drivers in my big pool at work.:growl:
 
I guess Jr liked the fact that Rick Hendrick was there in victory lane for his celebration. That was one of his problems with Teresa.
 
I give it a 9 also. Great racing, Jrs first win with HMS and Gibbs showed there is nothing wrong with the Toyotas:growl:
 
I also wanted to chime in and say I thought Harvick did a good job as well! Who knew indeed he had potential broadcast gig in his future. :)
 
Awesome job by Jr. He's never lost the competitive fire just the equipment reliability to get the job done. Now he's got it back and will once again be a force to reckon with...
