Oh, wait a minute, we're supposed to be talking about Talladega aren't we? Sorry, those were my ratings for the Commonwealth 100 at Virginia Motor Speedway. :D

I thought the first 85% of the race was pretty boring. It was really clear at the end that the best cars were hanging back until the last 10ish laps.

The last 20 laps were pretty good. The rest was meh. Never seen so many meaningless passes for the lead before.

That's why I said they should all be 10 laps. Ok maybe 25 tops, even the S@P cars could finish. lol

I'll give it a 7.5. Great finish.

Would have probably gave the race a lower rating if not for Kurt Busch. Without him, we would have seen a lot more strung-out racing and green flag pit stops. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I have to go along with that, so it's hard to give it a rating. The finish was definitely a 10.

I can't give a rating this week because I did not see the race. I recorded but only watched from the last caution on.

I am not a fan of the pair racing. My biggest problem with it is in some ways it cuts the field in half. If you are a good pusher but not leader...your only shot at winning is to try and push your guy out as far as you can going to the checker and set him up for the pass. Problem is, if you are lucky enough to pull this off, when you drop from behind him you can easily get frieght trained by another two car pair...but it did provide a heck of a finish.

I liked this race and think it was, by far, the best of the weekend. I also watched it on Earnhardt's, DirecTV driver channel. A completely different perspective of the race. It gave a real inside look at how this two car drafting works in relation to each drivers responsibility as well as the spotters. I didn't watch the other drivers channels so I can only comment on these two but you could tell by listening that these drivers are still learning about this two car drafting. They were experimenting throughout the race. They tried many things that worked and many that didn't. If any of you that aren't totally turned off by this type of racing get a chance to watch one of those channels, do it. I think that you'll enjoy the race even more.

I enjoyed the race, and the finish was great. I'll give it an 8 for the race and a 10 for the finish.

I don't understand how someone could call yesterdays Cup race boring. You need to check your pulse. There have been some bores in the past, but the last 4 'dega races have been quite entertaining. Love the Two car Two step, a lot better than the pack racing of the past restrictor plate days.
