I give it a 6...Ward did well, but the race was kind of slow, and all of the cautions in a row were really starting to make me mad!! "CAUTIONS"
Hey Now!! That was the worst part of the day! It was a pretty boring race. I was bummed when Stewart lost his motor. And Marlin had a horrible day to. I give it a 5, would have been a 4 if it wasn't for the second place battle.Originally posted by 4xchampncountin@Mar 30 2003, 08:16 PM
I give it a twelve...Just because Jeff Gordon leapfrogged Tony Stewart in the points standings. If it weren't for that, I would give it a 7.
I agree, except for the BORING part. Its racing, if you think 800hp cars that run close to 170 in the corners is boring then...well I don't know...It's just that I have never seen a boring race in my life.Originally posted by Whizzer@Mar 31 2003, 07:52 AM
Another one of the most BORING races of the year, yet the stands are filled. What does this tell you ???
As for the fan appeal, should Texas get another date?? Or are dates given or changed to accomodate large spectator tracks such as Texas. It is obvious they do not give a rats patootie about the quality of racing, being more intent on "how many tickets will be sold".
What makes a good race at Texas beside the speed. There sure isn't much else there. Very little action in the rest of the pack and the only thing of interest was the duel at the end.

The Green Bay Packers rule...It has nothing really to do with Nascar, but I like them too!!
I'm not deffending the track because i don't like the racing their either. Give them a couple years without repaving or redesigning the track, the groove should widden out and be more like atlanta and charlotteOriginally posted by Whizzer@Mar 31 2003, 08:52 AM
