I give it a 6...Ward did well, but the race was kind of slow, and all of the cautions in a row were really starting to make me mad!! :dual9mm: "CAUTIONS"

I give it a twelve...Just because Jeff Gordon leapfrogged Tony Stewart in the points standings. If it weren't for that, I would give it a 7. :p

I give it a 6...the aero push was once again in full force, there was a rash of cautions that jumbled the field, and my driver didn't even crack the top-20.

One of the more boring races this year. Not that I didn't like watching it (remember winter months?) but doesn't compare to others. Points mean little right now. ;)

I give it a 6 bananas.

I'll give it a 7. The cautions brought the rating down, but watching the cars walk a high speed tight rope was still fun.

I'll give it a 6. the field got spread out to quick. there may have been some good racing back in the pack but I really didn't see a whole lot of it.

I give it a 9!!! Jr ran well, Sadler ran well (until the wreck), just a good race in general. Jr and Gordon had a helluva battle there at the end..

It was somewhat boring and aggrevating with the cautions. The Jr./Gordon duel in the last laps was great. I give it a 7.

I give the race a 5 (boring) but I give the 2nd place battle a 10

Another one of the most BORING races of the year, yet the stands are filled. What does this tell you ???

As for the fan appeal, should Texas get another date?? Or are dates given or changed to accomodate large spectator tracks such as Texas. It is obvious they do not give a rats patootie about the quality of racing, being more intent on "how many tickets will be sold".

What makes a good race at Texas beside the speed. There sure isn't much else there. Very little action in the rest of the pack and the only thing of interest was the duel at the end.

Hey Now!! That was the worst part of the day! :( It was a pretty boring race. I was bummed when Stewart lost his motor. And Marlin had a horrible day to. I give it a 5, would have been a 4 if it wasn't for the second place battle.

Good racing all around, lots of cautions dragged it down a bit. I give it/

I agree, except for the BORING part. Its racing, if you think 800hp cars that run close to 170 in the corners is boring then...well I don't know...It's just that I have never seen a boring race in my life.

It sucks that some of the best tracks are being put on the chopping block due to money grabbing pigs. I say Nascar should be run like the Green Bay Packers, the people own the team, stockholders as a mass should get the say, after all they are they are the money helton is looking for.

The Green Bay Packers rule...It has nothing really to do with Nascar, but I like them too!! :D

I give it about a 7. The race for second place was the most exciting part of the race.

I'm not deffending the track because i don't like the racing their either. Give them a couple years without repaving or redesigning the track, the groove should widden out and be more like atlanta and charlotte

as for this race goes, id say about a 6. Not very exciting but it was good for a texas race.

I give it a 7. But that is not good enough rating for a second show at Texas.

I saw some really good battles for position going on in the back, that I don't think the TV audience saw. Still, overall, it was not an exciting race.

I give it a 6, only because of the last 30 laps.

Hopefully, as the asphalt cures, the racing will improve. It took a bit for Atlanta to really come in after the reconfiguration. *fingers crossed*

^_^ Well Folks----- From My Seats---- 3 rows from Top--- exit of pit road--- There was some good racing going on back in the Pack.. The Thing that we (That be two EX-Drivers of race Cars)---don't understand---is why the "Busch cars" can run "Three Abreast"--- Two Wide in the Turns---and Race.. While the "CUP" Boys---resort to "Follow the Leader"---Keep Clean--and Race the Last 30 Laps.... They just will not "RACE"---on that Track..... At One Point in the race--- "Mark Martin" clearly had the fastest car on the Track---turning 29.4's and 29.5's---while The leaders were turning 30.7 and 8... While Listening to him on the scanner---- Fenney---told him to back Off---save the Car--- instead of Going to the Front... He had Moved from 21st to 8th and was comming hard.... Bill Elloitt and Elliott Sadler clearly--had the Best cars on the Track---except Elliott couldn't Race--in "Dirty Air".... I still don't know "why"--Elliotts Motor turned loose...???

NOW--- ;) Speaking of Busch Racing..?? <<G> The Nascar Official---that made the Call--for the "Caution"-for debris---((and it was nothing but a Tear Away plastic.....Needs to have His "Behind Kicked"---and "FIRED"... That call brought about all that last 11 laps Melay--Red Flags---wrecks--etc---and there was a Good-- 6 or 7 car Race developeing for the last 6-7 lap shoot-out... Dumn--Move.! Tore up some real good race cars--and cost some teams "Position Money", "Points"--and "cars".... I hope his tail was called on the carpet for that..!!

((Just "MY"--own Personal Views....))

Rowdy...............
