So on a scale of 1-10, how would you rate the 2013 NASCAR Season?

I'm gonna go a 7. There were a lot of fun moments this year, but there were just too many negatives that happened throughout the season to merit any higher of a rating than that, IMO. It was a good season, but I don't think it'll go down in the history books as one of the greats.

8. Good season with plenty of drama.. I've seen better but the Gen six was a step in the right direction. with some tweaks, we'll have great racing at most tracks.

8/10 - Some good racing all year, a good bit of team drama, and an awesome championship battle until Phoenix happened.

Give it 8. Pretty darn good but always room for improvement regardless of where my fav. drivers finished.

8 --------------------------- Kenseth didnt win, I am pleased

I can't believe these high ratings. So many 1.5 mile single file snoozers, and so few tire marks on the winner's car.

2 out of 10.

States off at a 9. These new gen 6 cars looked so tight.

After the season I'm gunna go a 6. The "out front with 100 lap tires beats fresh tires in second" killed me. Passing was eh. Plate racing sucked. Still competitive enough to keep it fun & I predicted JJ would win his 6th after he won the 500 so my excitement was lack luster. Would be a 4 without the Richmond scandal

I'm going to have to give it a six. Mainly because the only time there was a fight for the lead of the race is at short tracks or at tracks where you actually had to use a substantial amount of braking.

i'll give it a 6....some races just plain sucked.....but most races were pretty good.....smokes injury just killed the season for me right there....gen6 is great but there's still room to improve

I will give it a 5. Some good races and some bad races, but too many injuries and too much controversy...in which both had an effect. Both Denny and Stewart went out, which are two drivers who could have finished at least top five. Then you have the Richmond ordeal that shook things up.

4/10 The tires sucked. 1.5 mile races sucked. Restrictor plate races sucked.

7. Up and down season with.Drama , controversy,Danica .And one lost Wednesday night in September @Loudon in camping lot S-4.(I'll give that a 10).

Not sure where to put this so Im putting it here lol.. Just wanted to mention (I know I know ) Joey Logano was the highest finishing Ford driver in the points standings. Not bad for a first year Ford driver with a new team.

Overall, I gotta rate the year a solid 8. Best racing in years. Some very snoozy fuel races, but some very good side-by-side, plenty-of-passing races, too.
I'm optimistic for 2014. I hope NASCAR leaves things alone for a change.

About a 6.
Started off as an 8, the Joey Hamlin hate show was good until Hamlin got hurt.

A Jeff and Clint hate affair just simmered, and never really manifested itself in 2013.

Some younger drivers in 2014, hopefully young dumb and full of some hate. It could be a good chemistry, some young hotheads to make the highlights and some sage veterans closing the deals at the end of the day.

I will say 6, would be higher without some of the unnecisary drama (though some is good). Gen 6s look sharp, and racing is sure better than last year.

Five. A lot of good races but most of the 1.5 mile tracks are still really bad - quite possibly worse than they were before. Add in the way the new car has destroyed the racing product at Daytona and Talladega.
