I'II give this season a 10, one of the best in years
Two of my guys won championships (Crafton and Elliott), and Jr and Keselowski combined to win 10 races. It's going to be a long off-season.
Race of the Year : Daytona 500
Worst Race of the Year : Phoenix 2 (both of the phoenix races weren't that good
Driver of the Year : Harvick
Most Surprising Driver of the Year : Newman
Driver that did less than I thought he would do : Truex Jr

Trucks: 8
N'wide: 8
Cup: would be about a 9, but the last several weeks have turned it into about a 6

Ill give the season a 8,
best race too close to pick. but it would be a short track

not sold on the chase system yet but they will change it soon so its a non issue.

I would give the Trucks a 9, even thought Kyle won a lot of races, it was still a really good season, and i would N'wide a 7.5

I'll go an 8. The racing was good most weeks except for a stretch in the summer where it got a little snoozy, but it was hard to get past that format.

As always, a 10 overall.

When 43, all American , 850HP naturally aspirated, push rod type engines, capable of sustaining a continuous 9000 RPM, in state of the art Racing chassis, and sound like nothing else in the world all show up at the same place, buddy row, that's a 10 week after week.:headbang:
Isn't that something when they all fire up at the same time, it gives you goose bumps. some very hard racing this year. hope their is more to come next year.

across the board all 3 series

Easy to forget season, hope the gimmick goes away------------ 7
nationwide-------- 8
truck-------------9

I'm an old fart, set in my ways. I wasn't sure this new Chase was going to work. But it has produced, along with the changes to the car, some
of the best racing (with a couple of exceptions) that I've seen in several years. The last 10 races have been intense and certainly not for sissies.

I'll go a 9.
I'm hoping that the car next year will prove to be even more competitive.

2 million----and this was a brutal year for my Toyotas. What was so cool for me was the struggle to get pace, and it almost ended in glory. I constantly remind myself that when I can get all worked up over sport, my life must be pretty good. As worked up as I have been all year, my life is really good. This is a great sport, and I love diving into it with all the passion of my being. The result tonight is crushing, but in a few days, I will look forward to Carl coming to the Toyota fold, and starting all over in Daytona. What a great freakin' ride.

I'll give it a 10. In the end it was all about winning. Kept teams more focused on winning races rather than chasing points. Would have loved to see Newman win but he came close and drove one heck of a race.

Man, you got that right. My seats at Atlanta are in the exit of turn 4 first row, (can see whole track and the pits) when they drop the green flag and 43- 850HP race cars with the best drivers in the world come off of 4, full throttle within 30 feet of where I am sitting, holy moley, it is an aw inspiring moment, nothing else in the world like it.:whoopee: Another good place for a rush is start finish line at Daytona on the first and second lap.

Any race season is a 10, especially when your guy wins the truck and Nationwide title, a bit short in cup.

8.5/10
best race: watkins glen....a.j. allmendinger and marcos ambrose going toe to toe for the win...man was that awesome...

First season I've watched consistently since 05 or 07, god I can't even remember, maybe that says something more about me than the racing but ehh (I am a Jr. fan), I'll give it a 8. The racing in its truest form was a little boring, not a lot of memorable incidents either. The chase made it interesting, maybe with this format and better on track product it will be a good year next year.

The one thing I will say is that this is the first time I've watched qualifying since 05, the combination of the new format and the bazing speed made it very enjoyable. Maybe not quite as good as seeing those old cars with the grills all tapped up and sucked to the ground, bouncing around but hey, it was fun to watch for the first time in forever. Big bonus for me personally.

My driver didn't win the championship so the season and Chase sucked. If and when he does win another Cup, I'm sure I'll change my mind.

Anyone who doesn't agree with me needs to quit watching Nascar and start a macramé club so me and all the other Kenseth fans can keep Nascar going all by ourselves.

Is that enough drama?
